SPORE Terraforming NEED HELP !!!

I am stuck on the mission where you need to terraform one of the planets in your colony for your homeworld.The dot for the terrascore is at the top left hand corner and the only terraforming tools I have at my disposal are the Atmosphere and Drought generator. What should i do please help.

The atmosphere generator will move the dot towards the white cloud, the drought generator will move it towards the grey (striped) cloud. You should try to get the dot as near to the centre of the circle as possible (you will need some temperature increase/decrease tools as well to do so)

Certain empires sell different terraforming tools, their descriptions should tell you what they do.

Some tools become available as you unlock new badges or rankings. Whenever you get a new badge or rank, be sure to visit EACH type of Empire, as they will all sell a diffrent selection of stuff.

Usually your homeworld has all the tools availabe, for a LARGE price. So if you see a tool you like there, you're bound to find it for a cheaper price next door.

If your a begginer then the tools are meteor shower and ice shower or something like that.

myself, I usually don't do much teraforming untill I unlock the infinite use tools as the single shot teraforming tools are expensive enough to be largely impractical for a starting empire. early on just try and grab as many t1 and above worlds as possible and do missions to keep the neibours happy. once you can teraform for free with the infinite use tools stop spreading worlds and develop those you already have 6-7 T3 colonies beat 3X as many T1 colonies. once you have enough t3 colonies to make a lot of money finish upgrading the ship, build a war chest and go blast anyone you feel like.

Best empires to ally with are Shamen (cheap teraforming gear and VERY cheap colony packs) and Warrior (half price weapons and cheap uber turrets). Warriors can be a pain in the neck so where possible I like to make a warrior race via monolith and ally to that so they are indebtured to me and hence less likely to make trouble.

thanks for the help i have unlocked some new tools and terraformed my planet to t1 using 2 meteor showers and 2 drought generators
