Default Consequence Abilities

Is there a source anywhere saying how to get certain consequence abilities? I've been trying to get knight in a round about fashion, and have ended up over the course of 2 races going to space anyway, and one trying to get a certain ability, and ended up with zealot, ecologist, bard, trader and shaman. Zealot, Ecologist and Shaman all by going Green, green, red and then either red, blue or green

I haven't found any, the manual is silent about it, too.

Maybe we should post the paths we took and what philosophy we got from it. Then there would be a database of it. Here.

Omnivore -> Friendly -> Industrious -> Economic = Trader

That was my first path. Anyone want to share theirs, preferably in a similar format?

the achievements mention 10 archetypes, knight is the only one with a special racial animation (red light), so i'd wager only tribal and civ stages matter for archetype generation, and as the grox are the only race with knight, it's probably the tenth archetype and is only accessible by some archetype changing mission after befriending them.

supposedly there are archetype missions, though i've yet to encounter one.

Carnivore -> Predator -> Aggressive -> Military -> Warrior

I've missed tribal stage out but it was the red path too, I'll edit tomorrow when I look up what it's calledI've given up on that save game as I was on hard and went to war with the Grox and they are quite a big empire! So I'll write down any paths I take from now on and post them

To get knight:
Omnivore -> Social -> Aggressive -> Military -> Knight

I got it on my first creature ^_^
The description for knight: Knights are noble warriors that fight for right, not personal gain. Peace will come to the galaxy only when evil has been vanquished.

So obviously you have to be social atleast once somewhere to prove your good intentions rather than a pure militarian like the path in the post above, that would obviously be a pure, brutal warrior ^_^

Shaman can be gained by
Herbivore -> Social/Predator -> Friendly -> Religious -> Shaman

Trader
Omnivore -> Adaptable/Friendly -> Industrious -> Economic -> Trader

Interesting. Trader doesn't seem to be affected much by the cell phase, as I got trader by the same route as dd790, except I was carnivore for the cell phase.

The early phases don't seem to affect it as much.

My Shaman and trader went:

Herbivore -> Friendly->Aggressive->Religious ->Shaman

Carnivore -> Social ->Industrious -> Economic -> Trader

I could get either Zealot, Shaman or Ecologist just by adapting what I did at the final phase.

Herbivore -> Social -> Aggressive -> Military -> Zealot
-> Economic -> Ecologist
-> Religious -> Shaman

I'm trying to put this info in a table over here: Category:Space phase - SporeWiki

You can complete each stage in 3 different ways, and 4 stages. So thats 3*3*3*3 = 81 different possibilities overall. Hopefully by completing the table we'll see there's a simple pattern to it.

there should be about 8 different combinations leading to 1 of 10 archetypes, as Scientist for example, so CarlAylward - you've found yet another one leading to it

I wounder what another way to get Ecologist is as its not exectly easy to switch to trade they never seem to show up in my game.

There is a list in the guide that I have but it goes on for about 4 pages so i won't copy it out although if you have any preferences in a stage (e.g. Creature - social) then i can tell you how to get to warrior/knight from there. same offer to anyone who is interested.

I'm off work this week so I'll do lots of work on the wiki. I'm adding the "Philosophy" article soon as I've finished writing it and I'll add more information on each ability including screen shots and in bedded videos if I can work out how.

your spreadsheet will be helpful, i've got the Prima guide (it seemed like there was alot to find out) so a printable version is good. Well done though.

Mini U is just a small copy of your spaceship which acts like lalalalalala.

Not true! I'm a bit confused still as to how they work it out, maybe it's how you became each colour for each stage, because I got a knight by going red on every stage.

r you sure that wasnt warrior cause with knight your special ability is to summon a mini you and warrior is to summon pirates to a planet, and its the combination of colours see here Philosophy - SporeWiki
