I hate the Grox, intefering the middle of important occasions (attacks/allied attacks). I want to get rid of them but ive heard thats near enough impossible. Shame there arent any "black-hole" missiles to just suck up everything Groxy. Main point in post - Is there a super-weapon that can take several planets at once? One doubts it.

A selection of rift weaponry would be nice. Transform the star system into a black hole, eh?

With the amount of players, it'll be over within a few minuites, maybe before half of the people can prepare/travel there. Plus it'll lag like hell, heck i dont think their server(s) can take all of us on at the same time. I thought they were for just storing.

It might work so that you can only connect with your buddies, so it would only be 5 or so people connected. it'd reduce the lag a lil, and not make it be ova so soon.

Wouldnt recommend it, it will be Groxed into oblivion, they always attack the planet you own closest to the core

If you have a planet with 3 colonies, max turrets on each, + uberturret it can sustain about 4 Grox invasions without repair before it is captured.

Yeah, I had a small core barricade going on. It was taking forever so I got bored and used my Gaal species to destroy them all. Player vs. Player ftw!

Never put two of my empires against each other (but of course the Gaal are evil), if you destroy a colony of one of them, is it gone on both saves? Also do you end up getting attacked by your own ships? And which side do uberturrets take???

Well, the point is that you can get to neutral with Grox, that ain't really hard, afterwards getting to the center is a lot easier, 'coz you can stop on their own planets and repair/recharge, though it costs a lot more than with other aliens (They will still attack your ship, but they won't attack your colonies). And could anyone say, since the staff of life was already mentioned, is there a chance of recharging it?

Default Best way to deal with the Grox is to ...

The best way to deal with the Grox is to teraform the planets that they hold. Improving their planet's T score eliminates their colonies. Double benefit to you: Grox are not only eradicated but you are then free to place a colony there and mine spice in that system. A 3rd benefit is that the system becomes a safe haven for you in hostile territory.

... that, AND you are one safe jump closer to the center of the galaxy and the wonderous Capitalist God that lives there!
