Spore glitches\bugs\problems... help?

OK, im playing my second creature from cell-stage up to tribal stage,
but when im in tribal it seems as if my tribe-chief cant seem to land! (he has wings) he ends up abowe the atmosphere and dies of hunger, gets revived, and takes of again! i cant be friendly without him!
what can that be?

so!
i make another try from scratch. get to the creature-phase then when i have just modified my awesome creature, i go back to game, the "migrating-cutscene" plays but i skip it, and suddenly i find myself trapped inside my EGG!? ...
i can still use the buttons, everything works, except the esc-button and the hatching :P ...

help?

Haven't had a single real glitch or crash in 7 hours of use...

Only problem I had was a graphics bug where i went invisible. So i just saved and reloaded. And back to normal.

I think you should try restarting/reloading if you haven't tried that.

i was wondering if anyone had noticed a few graphical glitches? Eg, when i had my tribe members exchange their stone axes for some horns, they still held the axes with horns attatched at the bottom. And they also seemed to still be carrying them in the Civ age.

Yeah my guys were holding stone axes and at then they equipped their axes (!!) with maracas or whatever that thing is. Looked a bit odd, but the friendly neighbors thought it was a fun act to play with them - so I don't really care about that.

However, I found it REALLY funny to find that nearby my camp in tribe stage, I found a bunch of HUMANS! I brought one home as my pet. Haha! Was the best thing ever!

Well i rushed through the game yesterday to see what it was all like. Think i will be starting again tonight and taking my time. However for thos of you allready playing, find the skalthrax and wipe them out :P just for kicks.

argh, I have the same problem, he is all up there in space, flying and stuff, he won't come down

I'm Norwegian too, though I don't think it has anything to do with the flying problem

in the tribal phase i had my creatures collect some food now they refuse to put the food in the stockpile...i had them drop it and get new food still wont put it in the pile...i cannot get out of the tribal phase with them..how did something like this get overlooked after so many years?

oh yah and when i zoom out a little my creatures become invisible to me

I have heard of this a few times and now I remembered my newest creature has wings o dear.......

This was the first bug I heard about in game. You could just arm your troops and slaughter the other tribes?

I have had 5 MAJOR crashes to date, first time I lost 6-7 hours of gameplay (I save every 10-15 mins now) since then i have had exceptions thrown by the game, i have been dumped out to the main screen and the last time the game froze while zooming into a planet (except i could move the cursor), i could not go to windowed mode (i am on a mac so CMD-Enter did nothing), but I was able to use my iTunes Fn-Play to start music, so my OS is runnign behind it (CMD-Q did nothing), so the only thing I could after 10 mins of waiting was hard power down..... Painful.....

I had the same experience I thought it auto saved the first time and only saved once half way through the creature part and 4 hours later near the end of the civ it crashed.

I had 5 crashed 3 zooming into or out of systems, 2 in the civ stage.

Yeah mine seem to happen mainly in the zooming in and out of systems too, I only had one in the tribal phase

What systems are you on, and what drivers are installed?

I've got the following
- Windows Vista x64 SP1
- EVGA nForce 780i mainboard
- Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz
- EVGA GeForce 9800GTX w/ drivers 177.79
- 4GB RAM

Haven't had any problems with the game crashing. The only time I've thought the game would shut down was during sharing of my creations - took ages to share them.

That happened to me earlier on, save the game close spore down, then go back to the save, works fine from there.

havent had crashes in creature and tribe-stage anymore. (yay, but never found out about the wierd egg and flying-thingy) but i have this problem in civ stage tough! i feel like the most patient person in the world sometimes :P i starts from scratch (from save) in civ, and play as religious and start taking over the world, but then the game freezes when i have played frustratingly long (i play at hard). after this happening to me three times (the third time I actually remembered to save regulary) i discovered this only happens when i converts a city with boats, and lots of them.. everytime it freezes its when im just about to convert.

anyone find this familiar?

Same thing happens to me - CTD especially after I visited (zoomed into) my home system and visit other systems thereafter.

I don't know if it could be related to the Sporepedia - it usually happens when I close Sporepedia and continue playing while it is downloading / updating the subscribed Sporecasts.

Does anybodies land seem to grow untill your surrended by pits of nothing and walls of rock. well mine does from the second I spurt oout some legs and walk on land it's all distorted. I'm so confused!!

I got a glitch that just makes no sense. My creatures are brown, with a red stripe. All throught time, their color for buildings and stuff has been dark red, which made sense. In space, my planets were all red.

One day I loaded it up, and my planets were...blue? Somehow my civ's main color became blue, but my creatures second and third colors are still red! I have NO idea what happened, or how to fix it.

ugh problems don't get me wrong i love the game but please i need patch-age soon

1. in tribal game nearly every time i take over another town and return to the village everyone freezes i can move aroound the cameraetc but they dont move so i save and return to the main menu and then randomly i can see the build options(stone axe hut etc) over the galaxy and then it crashes.

2 my creatures raandomly turn dark? they normal and fine then randomly l8r in the game i'll go into the creator and when i come off they'll look sort of burnt?no matter which colours i use my building and ships etc do the same etc.

Same thing happened to me...THREE TIMES.

I've sent questions to EA regarding (and you know how that turned out...LOL). It's been a five days and still no reply.

Oddly enough, my creatures' empire was dark RED also, and it turned blue AFTER I played a new game with a BLUE creature. So I redid the entire thing from cell to space, since I kind of like the RED color, then I played a new game with a yellow creature last night, and guess what happened when I played the RED civilization...they were YELLOW. It seems to happen only in the space stage.

Annoying.

Doesn't change the gameplay, though, but ANNOYING.

Anyone out there know a fix to this?

ya.. im probably being silly here but um well.. if the wings are causing so much trouble than why not REMOVE them. it should fix it. ya i know i know the wings are really cool and help alot but seriously if a glitch like that popped up in my game i would just leave the wings

i have had a pretty interesting glitch too. i started a game from cell and get up to tribal (this is on hard) and i died.... so the cutscene plays and i press Esc 5 times and the cutscene ends, but it doesnt start me back at my last save. So i have no tribe members and a burned down hut. I can still have tribe members, but when they reach adulthood 2 other tribes attack me. im fixing up a vid i made with the movie cheat to put on youtube.

Can somebody PLEASE help me i'm playing spore on my Macbook (or i've played it until now....) when i'm trying to start the game the white screen with the letters "SPORE" appears...so good so far...the screen turns black as normal my curser gets from black to white and schould change into the blue Triangel curser of spore however... just before the spore logo appears and explodes (the intro) my screen turns black and turns to the apple desktop again... where theres a little window an it says:"Exception raised Unhandled page fault on write acces to 0x0e0b0000 at address 0x005a60b2"Do you wish to debug it ?'' Then i klick on ''Yes" the screen turns black again and then goes back to the desktop....when i start spore new the same thing happens PLEASE can somebody help me?????

hmm....
try clicking no for debugging it, if that doesn't work, try un-installing spore (you might lose your spore data I never lost any data and I have a macbook!) you never know... you might lose your data so just in case, if you have a back up drive, I suggest to back spore your spore data then re-install. If that dosn't work, contact EA support.
