Default What will happen to your Spore creatures when you buy spore?

I've spent a lot of time making my spore creatures, and I can't help but wonder what will happen to them when I install Spore. (the full game) Will they be deleted? Will spore creature creator be deleted? And will the game contain the creature creator as a mode? Please reply if you know the answer. Thank you!

No offence, but the answer is readily available if you just searched a bit.

The creature editor is part of the game, but there is no reason the Creator or any of your creature would be deleted.

you may have to uninstall the CC to install spore, but it wont delete your creatures (same as when uninstalling the demo to install the full version if you did that. (i did)) And you'll still have the CC because it will be in spore itself.

I wonder if CC will really be included in Spore... I saw an online store selling a bundle pack with CC and Spore together. I thought everything would be included in the final game but now Im not sure anymore...

Well you will still be able to use the CC after installing spore, you can still create creatures, save them in the sporepedia and share them with the world.

Anyway in one spore demonstration, there was a whole screen with 18 buttons representing the 18 editors. This was within spore so the creature editor must be accesible from the main game.

Yeah... it should be... But for the people who didnt get the CC now and maybe doesnt even know about the game before they see it in the store and after they bought it they find out that CC wasnt included and you had to buy that part separate... But I dont know if that is the case or if it's also included in the game.

it is def in the game. end of. lol. I feel sorry for the people who buy both together and realise they've wasted their money. i'm sure they could go complain and get their money back. especailly as you should be getting spore cheaper once you've bought the CC.

yes, the bundle pack I saw said you would save 5 dollars if you bought them together, which was a lie if its already included in the game.

presumably they were giving you the CC straight away and a preorder for Spore so it may of been an ok deal.

I know that the creator Editor Is included in the game, but my queston was is the creature Creator in the game. EA/ Maxis has many times said that the editor will be in the game, but not the creator. Will you freely be able to acess every single one of those spore? Play with them? Have all the parts you had in the original creator? That is my question

The Spore Creature Creator and the Spore Creature Editor are the same thing, so yes it will be in the full game. If you start in creature mode you will have to open the Editor and create a creature or load one you have already made. If you start in Cell you will edit the creature rather then create it from scratch. You will be using the same tool for creating and editing creatures.

I know that you are not exactly making the spore to feed them squashed bananas, but my concern is will you acually be able to do with them evrything you could in the creator? I've become very attached to my spore, and I wouldn't like never being able to "test drive" them again. And if you start from the cell stage, will that cell be your favourite spore that you made to play as in the game? No. Perhaps if you started in the creator phase you would be able to play as the spore you have created, but personally, I want to see my spore and guide him right from the moment He comes out of his meteor.

But what if I want to just have a lighthearted play with my spore, without doing the achual game? I can do just that in the creature creator, but what about in the game?

The only way to play with a pre-created spore is to start in creature, tribe, civ or space stage. If you start in cell you will create a new creature.
Depending on how complex or expensive (DNA point-wise) your pre-made spore are will dictate which stage you can load it into (if it is very complex chances are you will have to skip creature stage and start in tribe)

Sorry for the double post.

If you just want to play around with your spore then you can use the creature editor/creator that comes with the game and use the test mode. The Creator/editors should be available without playing the game, most likely be a selection on the main menu.

Thanks for awnsering. But that's the problem. I can't find EA or maxis saying that anywhere.

I guess that pretty much resolves this thread. I've only got one spore, Peblimb (my favourite), but if you want to download him, go to Spore™

If you watch some of the vids you can clearly see the editors in a menu where you can just desgin stuff as if you were using the released CC right now.
