Actually the dinosaurs with the largest EQ's (brain body ratio), scored about 5.8 Dinosaur Brains and Intelligence - Enchanted Learning Software, humans score from 5-8 by the looks of things, dolphins score lower http://www.aquaticape.org/eq.html. Here's a source placing the spread of humans from 5-10, and **** erectus at only 4.8 (erectus were a tribal tool using species). So dinosaurs definitly had enough brain.

but no opposable thumbs to do their button flies up. They used to weep at night because their dingles were on show.

Kind of depends on the sort of brain too. Presumably you can get brain casts from fossils and work out the most likely sort from there. I'm reckoning dino brains were pretty limbic - not exactly civilisation-builders....

Yoda needs to grow longer legs. OK, he can use the Force to float about like he's swallowed too much helium - but he sure looks dumb when he tries walking.

Yoda was the only decent thing in episodes 1,2,3. The rest was awful! Especially the 3rd... i know everyone thinks the 1st one sucks, but man the 3rd is some of the worst writting and character development i've ever seen.

Star wars got a lot worse the minute George Lucas said "hey lets make the prequels"

Actually it was when he said "hey i dont need to pay actors, i can just use CGI for them... wait a second... i could do the sets in CGI too.... i know, i'll cut my brain out and just use CGI for that as well MWAHHHA HAHAHHA" it was a very interesting interview.

Seems Lucas became much too prideful. The prequels would have been sooooo much better if he had let a good writer write the dialogue. Because the "romantic" dialogue especially is the worst I've ever heard in a mainstream film. I groan and then laugh just a the thought of classics like "I wish I could just wish my feelings away".

TheA is of course right about the overused CG and the character dev as well.

The prequels were thought of before they made episode 5! STar wars is good! except for the animated movie! ANd besides what game could be better than KOTOR except for Deus EX!

never played KOTOR but Deus Ex was pretty cool, but would look so dated now lol.
It is true though that the prequals were thought of before; hence the freaky numbering system! But come on Yoshi, watch episode 3 again and watch Anakin (sp??) turn from a really moral 'i want to be a jedi' kind of guy to a 'yeah i'll kill children it will be fun' kind of guy in 5 seconds! His change should be the most dramatic scene, yet it is the most hysterically funny and unbelievable scene ever written.
And don't give me the "once he accepted the dark side it swamped his mind sh*t" that people try and use, because even accepting that, it just doesnt work.

I saw 'Star Wars' when it first came out in the 1970s and remember even 'New Scientist' raving about how "For the first time, space actually looks like space". Kind of lost interest in the sequels when it turned out everyone was related to each other though.

Can't see that happening in Tribal--the three weapon types are listed above, I think--though maybe vehicle-mounted ones in Civ. Anyone seen the listings for them?

Sadly not. The weapons are spiked clubs, stone axes and throwing spears only. I'd have preferred more variety too, esp. as there's really not much difference between the melee weapons in terms of technique.
