Default Feedback on Spore

Hey,

Ok so I decided to give this game a go and had seen a few vids before on it, so had a rough idea of what is happening and what to do, started playing and did the first stage and that was plenty of fun, maybe a little short but it was all nicely created and kept me busy.

Onto stage 2 which I think was the most fun, slowly moving up and collecting new features for my character and building up, I think I spent the most time playing this stage, I did have 1 crash when I got to stage 3 and had not saved it and had to start stage 2 in middle again, but no big deal, but again I think stage 2 was the best for me, there was plenty to run around and do and aswell as creating the toon aswell.

Stage 3 now all the right ideas were there but, I think I finished it in less than 2 hours it was so easy, once I killed the first 2 computers I was just far to strong for the others and it was just a walk over, I didnt mind how it was all controled it was fun, however it was just way to short and just way to easy.

Stage 4 just turned into a real time strategy game which its very boring I must say, sorry that stage is just bad ... I have nothing really to comment on that..

Stage 5 - was fun for awhile but it got boring and too easy again after awhile...

Overall I think the first 3 stages were great and stage 3 a little short though, I did play the game on hardest and it was just far to easy when I finished the entire game in a day without even playing it before, the game is really nice though, it just lacks depth and things to do in some areas.

Stage 4 and 5 I think the only thing I got away from it was creating the cars and aircrafts, the buildings side were limited and boring on what you could do, but it seemed to lack control over your cell that you created in the other stages, I mean I created him I wanted to use him for battle!!! :P

Other than that, its not too bad but could be alot better!!

Nice review, but I'm surprised what you thought about stages 2 & 3. In my opinion the Tribal stage is really boring but I like Civ. I would agree that the Creature stage is good, but after playing it a lot I now think it's a little repetitive for it's length.

Its quite a short game, I am gonna play it again without being a nasty predator, cos I still like the game alot as I always have been creative and that side if it makes it the best.

I did like the idea of stage 3 but it was just not enough, and unfortantly I can play stage 4 in alot of other games which I am kinda over playing years ago, gonna give the expansion ago shortly though that does look pretty good

On side note - had very little issues with the game itself - I didnt patch or get any updates and only had 1 crash which you dont see in games very often so nice job in that area!!!

I, myself prefer to be an Omnivore (aka Nommyvore ) which makes the game slightly easier to play.

The game itself is a bit short and once you get to Space stage, the entire game's pointless to play. You get about 4 tutorial missions which is annoying for the experianced player and there's no real point to the game after that.
