Default Delete maxis creatures

I think we should have the option to delete maxis creatures. Even if we chose to only have a single species in our entire game, it's our game, we should be able to choose what goes in it and what doesn't. Even so, if you're online your game is going to become re-populated anyway. I'm sure most people won't miss maxis creatures, and those that will can just choose not to delete them.

Actually, we should have greater control of the flow of content within our game. Choose from modes: Automatic download as it is now, or controlled download where you pick objects/adventures/creatures specifically from the sporepedia in your own time (so you could choose not to download any and still be able to play online).

Your thoughts?

You can always ban them I think.

Here's something we need: A filter option, where you can allow and ban certain creations from specific saves, or even say that a creation can only appear in adventures but not in the game, etc. (would be very useful for all those captains without GAprop tag)

Also, perhaps you could be able to change something's display name, so when it appears in the main game the name will be different (good for creations with specific names, so for example there is no "professor googlebox empire" but instead just "googlebox empire")

I was always under the impression banning a creature had repercussions for the person who created them, some kind of disciplinary action or something.

A filter option would be good, I still think besides a choice to stop downloads altogether. An in-between option for the automatic download and controlled download?

It does kind of suck how you have to 'claim' it as your own if you want to change the display name (yeah, you can credit the original creator in the description but it's still got your name under the picture).

I wouldn't mind being able to ban Maxis downloads. Although I would want it to have a selective option, as I could never say goodbye to Moustachio!

Nog is my favourite. It's the most pointless creation in the world and the name makes me giggle...

Yeah I'm sick of seeing Maxis creatures in my game, when I do play one. There is a filter but it's not 100% effective, last time I knew.

I'm hugey irritated by the fact that the game automatically downloads random creatures when it feels like it :@
