Signed... this is a complete joke limiting installs especially considering the information advising customers of this is virtually non existant .....Im certain companies have to advise of this kind of information prior to purchase however non of this is printed on the box so its misselling of a product.

I'm not signing this, Fail. Your signitures would be better spent on a petition to make the game better e.g. patch

Default Won't be buying

I won't be buying it until Securom is removed.

I'd like to be bold and threaten to download it, but the sheer size of it is too much for that. So... one unhappy customer here.

Anyone who votes no clearly hasn't seen stardocks policy on copy protection, or shall we say the lack of one.

I understand EA wanting to put a stop to PR, but i dont believe this is the way to do it i mean. We have waited 5 years for this game and bought it the second it came out I think the least that we deserve is the ability to install the game as many times as we would like. I mean at least we BOUGHT ours unlike the i think it was about 900 people who were all trying to download the games crack on the 2nd. EA you need to suck it up and swallow it you are not helping your company you are ruining it unless you attack PRs head on you will never stop them from doing what they do. EA you all really and truely F***** up on this one you thought SecuRom would prevent it and look what it has done. People around the world have set goals to see who can crack it first. Spore is a very good game and completly worth the $80.00 i paided for the Galactic Edition, but EA dont take it as money to you i did because Will Wright is a freakin Genius and has given us the ability to create limitless wonders he has truely given us A Universe In A Box!!!. Though he has given the freedom to create an entire Galaxy he has not given us the ability to install it as many times as we need and with that i will end my Statement with these last few words. Spore is truely a breakthrough in gaming and deserve better usage. Thank You

That is not relevant to this thread. To say that you are not signing this because they should spend their time on other stuff is a little silly seeing as they have different departments for these kinds of stuff I believe.

I very nearly didn't buy the game because of it. I wasn't going to illegally download it, and I really wanted to play it so I gave in. But I'm not happy about paying this much to be effectively renting the game. I've paid my money, so I want to be able to reinstall it when needed, regardless of computer upgrades.

That argument is not valid either, people can complain all they like about something they have paid at the usual price to get a mere three installations along with that, has been reported to have caused major security problems for some computers.

The poll is simply do you WANT securom to be removed, your post says neither yes nor no so why bother posting?

Although you are possibly right about one thing, EA don't care.

Also, I wish they stop putting all that **** on DVD's too, so you have to watch 5 minutes of why its wrong to pirate. If it continues, I will get pirate stuff so I don't have to suffer the anti-piracy stuff I get bombarded with for actually buying things legitimately.

/signed for the removal of 3 activations.

I'm happy for online authentication for additional content, but seeing as I reinstalled in an attempt to fix my first games leaving homeworld crash I've got 1 install/hardware change left before I have to jump through hoops for the crumb of additional installs.

Shouldnt need the 3 limit install, piracy is going to happen and always will despite what anyone does.
