i'm sick of the whole game. all the problems with patching and soforth and yet EA suck too much to help us out or fix anything. They say that they will give us 24 new parts, everyone hets excited, and then it dosnt work for alot of people and EA ignore the problems. People are getting these problems with Creepy & Cute now. JUST FIX OUR PROBLEMS EA!!
That's what i 'dislike' about spore.

The only thing i dont like about spore is that it slowed down my PC abit more than it should

Apart from that, everythings absolutly fine with me, next to no glitches/crashes/bugs and it usually runs smoothly with all graphical setting put onto high.

I hate @spore.com, or anything to do with spore online. It's useless. I'm uninstalling the game and waiting for 6 months before trying again cos it's so slow and has too many glitches! I didn't have this much trouble when'tInterweb was first invented...! It even bogged up my sporecasts.

Most of my complaints have already been voiced in this board, like the lack of different resources in tribal and the simplicity of civ stage.

But I would really like to see the alien races spread out a lot more in space stage. The fact that you are competing with about five different empires from the word go, never-mind expanding into new areas, means the game becomes a frantic star system grabbing affair (coupled with the lack of defensive fleets and constant attacks/ecodisasters).

This change would be easy to implement in a patch or an expansion and would really improve space stage without altering the structure of the game.

I think the warfare sucked in Spore. They could of fixed it with a few easy features. Infantry, vihicles dont all shoot the same projectile and bigger fleets in space phase.

Well its not a warfare designed game, its more of a creative succession game in my opinion. There will probably be a Spore War expansion or something later on though.

The thing I'm finding annoying is coming across certain species a lot on different planets, particularly Maxis made creations, theres plenty of user creations around, why aren't they the ones I come across?

Space seems to encourage traders the most. It's not fair really. I want to convert an entire planet to my religion!

IMO religious is the most neglected path, in Civ stage it works just like military, send a load of vehicles to capture a city and fight over spice geysers. Being economic makes you work differently in Civ, which needs to be done for religious.

In space, traders are rewarded the most, the best way to earn money is by trading spice and bribing people is the easiest option. At least a military player has his fun when invading a planet, but being a religious species you have nothing different to do from the other types.

I think there should be more content added for religious species in an expansion

I GOT THE DAMN GAME YESTERDAY AND ITS INSTANTLY FAILED ON ME!
3 un-installations because of the glitches due to no creatures appearing in game.

woah, chill out, i thought they increased it to 5, and well you could ask for help in the technical support

all sports games suck, not just ea's, besides they made roadrash and just for that ill always love them

Sorry but it feels that me and my brother both bought copies of this game on different computers (at different times) just to find out that my brothers game glitched (he has XP) so he had to un-install then re-install, eventually running out of activations. EXACTLY the same thing happened to me! (But i have vista) Stupid Glitched Games.

just a fail game
I loved it when i first played it
i got to the space stage then i turned off and then headed for bed. Next Day and i find out That this game won't include my creatures in the game and yet replaces them with maxis's Fugly creatures. so i un-installed and re-installed to see if it worked and i also checked EA's apparant way to make this game work, and other sources. ALL OF THEM FAILED MISERABLY

the thing is i have it installed in windows vista(that ive had to re-install twice) and windows 7 , thats a total,including original installation, of 4 ive done without it running out, aslong as its the exact same pc it shouldnt count,

but like i say post a thread in the technical support asking for help, theres clever helpfull people out there

ive not used my copy on anyone elses computer except mine.
Don't think Anyone except EA can do anything about this.
But EA obviously have better things to do like picking their noses in search of nose gold.

Two things I would like to see in Spore

1: Stacking creature bonuses from parts in the creature phase, this would make the game more realistic.

2: Vehicle attacks in the Civ phase should match the weapons on them, e.g. if there is a missile launcher on a vehicle I create I want to see missiles being fired out of them, not a blue ball!
