Evolution Game Two

I am starting another evolution game.
It will work like the first.
We vote on what the amoeba/creature/tribe/civilization does next.

Rules:
1 Just say a simple vote like "I vote B.", rather than something silly like "CCCCC"
2 Don't spam.
3 Speak English or American English.
4 Do not swear, or insult anyone.
5 Have fun.
6 Don't break any rules.
7 Remember Rule 6.

I shall now start the story.

A tiny amoeba, whose species name was Khroot, swam through the tide-pool.
It (cells are genderless) found a bit of what could only be called a plant, and ate it.
Khroot spat it out.
It found a red chunk of something, and ate it.
It tasted good.
Khroot swam on, eating on the way, until he grew bigger.
Suddenly, it was set upon by Jonre cells!
They tore off its flagella, and ate Khroot.

What can other Khroot cells do differently?

A Grow armour.
B Spikes on the tail end -- anything trying to nip you gets spiked.
C Travel in packs -- safety in numbers.

And less costly, as it doesn't need to evolve anything.

There were more C votes than any other, so the Khroots swim in packs.

I will continue the story now:

The Khroots begin swimming in large packs.
The Goldies cannot get them now.
But, another variety of amoeba appears. The Chompers.
The Chompers are five times the size of the Khroots, and can swallow them whole!
Now, what should the Khroots do?

A Travel in even bigger packs, and gang up on Chompers, biting them from all sides, to drive them off.
B More flagellae to help them run away.
C Develop spikes, so Chompers will be in immense pain when they swallow Khroots.

i vote C becouse creature cant really attack you no matter size of you point a spike at him, he just hurt himself when he bites you, then you got time to run away

In that case, C it is.

The Khroots develop spikes, and cannot be eaten.
They continue to grow big, until they meet Spiked Shysters.
The Spiked Shysters have spikes on their fronts, and use them to poke between the Khroots' spikes. Oh, dear.
Now, what should the Khroots do?

A Put their spikes closer together.
B Grow longer spikes, so the Spiked Shyster spikes cannot reach between them.
C Swim away from the Spiked Shysters.

Longer spikes can be helpful in many situations and in the future, while A might be a more quick solution.
C is just cowardly. :P
