Thanks Bruuut, I have posted on the US forums, it was some of their community that helped initially with balancing the adventure and identifying bugs -I think we found them all. I've also posted it up for review on the US forums.

Hi , im sparkyclarky24!
I would just like to tell people about a mission set on GA called The Big Apple (Parts 1-4) I have recently been posting and now i have officially created the first 3 parts of the mission with polish Part 4 will be out early next week. The story goes a little like this: You start off in part one getting called down to help a village evacuate its population to a nearby city named Appleisha. They need evacuation because otherwise they will get flattened by an active volcano nearby, but they need your help because along the path are evil creatures named the iLax. So its simple to start with, you assist a village evacuation and protect them along the way and when you get there, the villagers are let in and thats the last you hear of them. BUT , when you get to the city, you speak to guy named jimmy, and he tells you of a mysterious tablet he found with a prophecy written on it about an alien invasion and a prince of space... Anyway , jimmy takes this prophecy with a pinch of salt and thinks nothing of it and then proceeds to help you take out the remaining iLax. Back in the city centre, the Mayor tells you of a meteor site that they need research help with, so you go over to the meteor crater and help some scientists..and in the end the mayor says "if we need you again , we will call upon you" (green rating 51 plays) http://eu.spore.com/sporepedia/viewa...838460&back=sc Part 2 delves into the mystery of this prophecy we learned about, and basically the meteor was engineered by a race named "the moles" so that anything which went near its crater turned Giant and rampaged everywhere destroying civilisation... the moles wanted to do this so that they could beam down to the planet without any resistance and they could take a mysterious fuel from underneath the planets surface! But obviously, the moles plan failed and so they have to attack manually...thus creating the beggining of a war. Spore™ Part 3 (uprise) sees the krastaah ( the main good guys ) form an alliance with the narrowly remaining iLax to defeat their common enemy, the moles! go behind enemy lines to free prisoners, join in a battle against the moles and wipe out the grandmaster mole for good! ... part 3 sort of sheds the "adventurous" aspect and enters the conflict stages of the story. http://eu.spore.com/sporepedia/viewa...526609&back=sp Part 4 is about the final battle on the mole homeworld, you can expect explosions, battles, orbital strikes and watching planets go boom... though i wont spoil anything xD. So if your interested, give it a shot! Check out part 1, 2 and 3 now! thanks for reading... any feedback , modifications? how would you improve it? |

I was going to post a comment but too lazy to do so, I would say, it was nicley detailed some parts i could access when i was'nt ment to (bad), and somtimes i would talk to mayor or somone after i did somthing so it turned completly out of charactor. But the main thing i did'nt like was that things like the citys, the volcano, and the burned city at the start being way too close to each other... I think you could improve that by spacing things out, making the journey seem to places a lot longer and using terraforming, i saw some houses on the beach which obstructed some objectives... PS: My first misson is completed, it is Sokiastroid EP2 (I started with EP2 by accident, i just thourght i'd make a adventure and found my self using the storyline for the Sokiastroids...) I'll release it with EP1 when i finish that.

And I just want to be clear, if you know me in real life, you'd know I don't take praise very often. The way I'm treated makes me quite agressive, as you can see. I'm sorry. Moving on, hopeing to forget that... Quote:

Phew...Thought there was gonna be a laser battle for a second...But i made a valid point! Cookies! Not the robot chicken exploding style ones.
I'm going to make a mission about a big long tunnel you can fall down with lots of randomness and effects flying around them!

my subscribers asked for more races, so I thought I'd try make them happy but hey, with the effects on Elemental Race, it's worth it.Um, the way I do it is to just set a course. With all adventures, the fastest person to complete the mission get's the highest on the score board. Take advantage of this and make it so that sporers compete with each other to finish the race the fastest.

My first released spore Adventure:
Name: Hotel Stupideto Plot: You have to stop a large deal in mass weaponary, only the Hotel its ment to happen in wont let you in! Picture: ![]() Link: http://http://eu.spore.com/sporepedi...762901&back=sp Points: 15 (dunno why, its VERY detailed...) Difficulty: 3 Captain: Any, use your own (i dont think the points will help but every little might help!) I think they'res a few difficult places that require your brain, especially when you have to break into the Pirate Base (The parts used for it made by Duploman for me (they are HL styled buidlings) for a HL style adventure, i was just testing them out.

I've finally made an unlocked-captain mission, The Crystal Laser, and have tried to make it as suitable for all captains as possible, while still being able to provide a challenge to the more well-outfitted ones.
![]() It's a part-infiltration, part-battle adventure, with some of the objectives hidden so that you can't just find them easily (as that would just make it too easy). And in the battle scene, you don't have to do much fighting - in fact, fighting can actually easily hinder your progress. It helps if you read the act descriptions, and take a look around your nearby area at the beginning of the mission. |

I have completed my first GA mission, but sofar noone has played it. So I'll put a link up here and see if this gets it some attention. It's a mystery, with some combat at the end so bring weapons.
"Journey to Nanggoon" Sporepedia I hope you like Hydras.

First of all, the characters that you have to bring to another character tend to have low awareness radii, which means that you have to travel very slowly and stay around them so that they follow you. They were also quite slow relative to my captain, who has level 5 speed. Maybe in your next mission with "Bring X to Y" missions you should make the characters level 5 speedy and with higher awareness radii, so that captains like mine don't have to spend three minutes going back and forth and trying to get the characters to follow us properly. Second of all, a common mistake often made with epic creatures, and almost impossible to avoid. When you have to fight a creature with large health, it's good to have a proper way to kill them that requires skill or looking around the place, rather than a straight-out fight. (It's a mistake i made on my first mission, although that was just a normal-sized creature with large health.) I think that if it weren't for my Freeze ability (which works suprisingly well on Epics), my captain would have been killed in the couple of minutes it takes to kill the deity. Other than that, it's perfect. Well, it would be nice if the roads were all flat, but that didn't cause much of a problem... |

I ok, firstly only the first of the three followers is set to follow only when aware of you, I had to do this or this character tended to leave the start location , get confused by the city buildings, and end up almost anywhere. As the other two should be near you when they start following I set the follow command to "Always" so their awareness radii shouldn't really matter. As for the epic battle, Guess the problem was I only had the one captain of my own to test with and he's got plasma guns and energy claws so the fight really wasn't that hard for him, provided you avoid setting off the cultists and JUST fight the beast. I can add an item to kill the beast with, but I was worried about making it too easy.

I've only made one Adventure so far, called "Tribal Rescue". I can't give you a link as the online Sporepedia is still being an lalalala and won't show me any entries or anything, so I can't see any of my (or anyone else's) stuff.
Anyway, my Adventure is pretty simple and straightforward. As it's the only one I've made so far, I was really just messing around to put together something that worked. I playtested it extensively and I think I got all the AI and stuff to work properly. I also put in a bunch of wildlife (created a few new species just to put into this one) to populate the planet - I don't like those Adventures where you just wander round these flat, featureless landscapes with not even a tree in sight. So I put in a couple of herbivores species and a couple of carnivore species to "fill up the gaps", as it were. It's only had one play so far but the player put a favourable comment (yay ), so I take that as a good sign .I'm working on another Adventure atm, and have one or two more ideas. It'll be a while before I get anything else up, though. These things take ages to make! Rather, they take me ages to make, because I jsut have to finish working on every tiny little detail and make it work perfectly and stuff .
