THE WAR AGAINST THE MACHINES.

Back Story.

In 2548 Mankind worked out it was impossible to create self aware Mechas, however they created something close, a computer that was made to study and learn all that human kind new and come up with ideas based upon what it learned and preform them it was called C-0. By 2553 Mankind built a statue to celebrate itself, they called it "the structure of human achievement", however in this time C-0 had it's focus on global warming it studied it, by 2555 it knew everything about it, and deemed it's creators evil, this alerted mankind so C-0 had to gain it's control and everything it had, it took control of tanks, and all military devises, and used them against Humanity. This stalled time but not enough so it looked into electronics, with time by 2557 it had created the first of the machines the C-050 Humanity escaped all controlled areas however there population was limited and they where now useless as all the tanks where mecha controlled. By 2529 C-0 had come up with the final solution, nuclear warfare. It is now 2678, all of the earths landscape is a wasteland, no trees can be seen for miles, and the sky is dimmed with suit.

Fractions

Humans (the last chance)- With a population of 70,000 (lowered due to the machines) they look like they have no hope, half are on the battle ground and the others hide many miles underground is bunkers, food is limited, nobody believes they will win this war.

The Machines- all linked to C-0, all determined to destroy mankind to "save" the earth.

MACHINES

AIR
C-060
Small drones about the size of a human, they are helicopter in form, they have a pair of flashlights beneath them.

C-101
Similar to the C-060 apart from the fact they are three times as large and hunt in swarms of 1000 each.

C-001
Small machines, they look like a metal rounded head with a single eye, are pair of claws at the bottom of it's body and and machine gun on one side of it's body

C- 200
Large jet machines each the size of a tower laying flat, they hunt in swarms, they have a large pair of wrings with "fans" attached to them, they make a low dim helicopter noise, they act as drop ships.

C-2000
They are like flying cities, they contain C- 200's, seen all over the world, each the size of manhattan, they have many rotating lights under the body, and many plasma weapons.

C-70,000
Only one was made, it is a Dyson sphere located around the earth, it is programed to register humanity.

C-80,0000
Is to be a Second Dyson sphere around the sun, it is yet to be constructed.

Land

C-050
Small mech, programed to destroy, it has a pair of simple machine guns.

C-100
Like the C-050 only taller

C-200
A C-100 only the machine guns have been replaced with plasma rocket launchers

CM-100
First machine with hands, it has a choice of what weapon it uses, not many were made due to complexities with the hands

CM-200
Bug like in structure, it grapples the face of a human and suffocates the victim

CM-300
Made of molten iron, only 200 were made as it is difficult to make them

DR-1
Small mech with "tanktires", behaves like the C-050

DR-2
The first "real" mech, it is 500 ft again runs on "tank-tires" weapon depends on what it's made to do

DR-3
First walking mech, 400 ft tall, programed to take down non machine controlled tanks

DR4
Collects iron

DR5
Large tanks, behave like self aware human tanks

Drone
Another tank.

PR-808
Large mech, much larger then the DR-2 mechs, it's appearance is that of a animal (three known so far are the horse tiger and bear) this was created whilst the C-0 studied on animals, it learned that humans where physicly weaker then them, it even programed them to behave like the animal it was structured to look like

PR-900
Bionic animal, made to spy on humans.

GEM
Large plasma turrents, much like the ones humans have.

Underwater/see

C-102
First underwater machine, programed to drag humans to the ocean floor

C-103
A C-102 with machine guns attached to it

C-200
Programed to cut up ships (and people)

C-2000
Mines, attach themselves onto a ship (if any humans remained in C-0 wanted to be certain they were dead) and explode once they reach the docking bay

CO-1
Underwater sub has two "flash lights" attached to it, programed to study the way the few remaining fish behave

CO-2
Known as sea serpents, they are large claws at the ocean floor, grapple those on or around the beach or the ocean

Other

C-333
A motorcycle machine, built to remove those on the run

CXD
any man made vehicle taken over by a machine is known as a CXD

B-5
Intelligent missiles

DEOOO
C-0 Developed this computer virus to remove all computers

G5
C-0 planted these throughout the deserts, large claws that pull those who tread on the trigger underground

Mine
Scatter throughout the world

Harvest moon
They look like the moon, programed to trap humans and take them to one of the 500 human camps C-0 set up.

ES-908
Basic Human probe, this machine inserts itself inside the body and connects itself with the spinal column, within 12 days the body is completely machine controlled.

ES-909
Same as the ES-908 exsept it is smaller more advanced and it does not need to "morph" with the spine, instead it burrows it's self into the mouth, it then drills a hole into the roof of the mouth, makes it's way upward, drilling in till it reaches the brain, this is followed by implanting ES-NANOS into the brain.

ES-NANO
Replaces brain cells with itself, basicly takes over the body, this is achieved in 1 day.

ES-907
Prototype for a new breed of parasites, all that is known is it can change a person completly, animal testing preformed by C-0 surgests it can alter the body.

A vast mountain of metal tore through the wasteland. It towered above any rock, tree or hill visible. It's track's beats the ground mercilessly. It's scanners shading the ground in a red glow. Deafening metallic sounds came from the torso bigger than a house, if there were any houses left. The lone DR-2 was patrolling the desterted world without fatigue, without pity, without amy thought that could be fathomed by a human.
A streak of smoke flew towards it, just visible against the blackened sky. It registered the rocket in half a second, and shot it down in the other half. It's infra-red sensors flared into life.
"-THREAT DETECTED-"
These words meant doom for any who heard them.

The soldgers rushed out the nuklier bunker, the world was a deserted wastland, few scorched trees could be seen a thick dark smog filled the air, they paused, they saw nothing but it was coming. The door to the nuklier bunker closed behind them, silience. A faint loud hum was heared, they all turned to see thousends of D2s allong with, C- 200's. "Move, Move Move!" screamed the general, quickly the D2's spotted him and fired.

The shot flared across the ground as it incinerated twenty men and caused all around the blast to clutch themselves in agony. The general sized up the machine and gave the signal for a rocket, and another, and another. As DR-2 was lit up by the explosions, the soldiers caught a brief view of the thousands of robots swarming towards them.
"Machine cannons fire!" barked a sergeant with a scarred face. Streams of bright sparks flew at the oncoming horde, making horrific noises. A ear-splitting screech penetrated the deafening smog. A plasma shot burnt through the humans' defensive positions, eating away at everything it touched. Especially flesh.
As a group of monstrosities with red eyes clambered towards group of men at lighting speed, they opened fire with rifles. Uselessly resisting, they were torn to pieces before any could fire a second shot.

Hundreds of B- 5's raged there way through the dim grey sky, many reached there targets, the humans however few made there way to nowhere, these where followed by C -200's, the ground was lit by the intence lights it carried and the sound was drained out by the low pitched hellicoptor like noise that cane with it, it opened up and unleashed hundreds of DR3'S.

Some of the more cowardly soldiers attempted to escape on jeeps.
