Iyakis chuckled.
"Well put the sword away, please" he said, "I'm afraid you will have to do something different." Iyakis paused. "Wait" he said, "Which Kanzaur told you to kill me? Maline??"

Kimo sighed with relief as he removed his swords. "Sorry for the threat. We're unaware of their names, but when I went to search for Maline for assistance, I spoke to some Kanzaurs at the Forest Spring. They said they'd help if we performed this task."

"I will have a word with them..." said Iyakis.
He walked back to the Forest Guard. Meanwhile, a different Kanzaur approached the Kalins from behind. He tapped Kimo on the shoulder. Kimo span around. "Why didn't you kill him?" hissed the Kanzaur. "Why should I have?" asked Kimo, "and what is your name?" "Zadar" said Zadar, "and if you want to get home, I suggest you do as we asked!". OOC: Yes, Zadar is a city in Croatia... I'm running out of names here...

OOC: Meh, I've resorted to cities before for names, earlier on there was a Quito (capital of Ecuador)
"He was our high commander before" said Zadar, "And a worse High Commander we have never had. He led countless Kanzaurs directly to their deaths, and of course he was in charge when we severed our alliance with the Paleos Ignis. They attacked our planets, and demanded we hand Iyakis over. But he had disappeared. They kidnapped countless Kanzaurs from the homeworld, men, women, children, and those they didn't kill they scattered across the galaxy." Zadar sighed. "And yet, if he wants to come back, we will let him. Our species tends to give second chances to people who don't deserve them. The way I see it, it is better he dies than thousands die because of him." Iyakis found his way back to the Forest Spring, but the ship was entirely empty. Strange, thought Iyakis, Maline said the reason they couldn't use it was because the crew had work to do on it. Iyakis thought of his children, Taeye and his younger daughter Rakel. He tried not to think too much about Raeye these days. It hurt his heart so to remember the little life lost. Iyakis marched back onto the Relic's Guard. "Maline" he said, "Some Kalins just tried to assassinate me, please tell me this has nothing to do with you..."

OOC : Ah I see - btw how do you know all these names?!? lol I want a character called Cairo
![]() "Hmm.. Understood then for why you want him gone." Kimo sighed. "But is it possible there is another way? Anything that doesn't involve us killing? We're trying to make as little amount of enemies as possible."

- The Divinity -
Zin heard the conversation. He unsheathed his mighty sword, took one step out of the Relic's Guard and stared down the Kalins. He pulled down his faceguard. "Can I help you or do your guts have to be splattered all over my ship?" Djuro punched Tolas to the ground and Ram fired. The bullet bounced off the Gaal King's implants and hit a Mukow's mask. The Mukow dropped dead. Djuro swooped into the air, giving a cackle. "Your end is to come, crusaders!" he laughed, "We end this now!" The sirens wailed on the Divinity. A frantic Jarbo appeared on the sirens. "Spodelings breached, starboard side!!" - Void - The Creator looked out at the void with nostalgia. It had been so long ago since he had travelled from home to the Milky Way. He turned to Thayri. Ironbork was shivering in the corner, holding up a sheet over his chest. His eyes were deep with fear. Thayri walked up to him. "What?" He dropped the sheets. He had a huge, bloodied wound from where the Groxinator was collapsing. Blood ran from his mouth.

"Oh dear..." Kimo mouthed, watching Zin's sword. "What is up with everyone trying to kill us?" Sarnet asked. "We mean you no harm." Kimo told Zin, fearing what he'll do next. "Kanzaurs told us they'd help us if we helped them, but we're not really prepared to kill."

OOC: I creep people out by knowing capital cities and flags, + I've been to Zadar. Its nice, you should go there
![]() - Presidential Fleet - The convoy approached the Divinity. On one of the smaller crafts near the middle of the group, Skawk flags hung limply in the vacuum of space. "We really need to change our flag..." said Yasin. "Why would you say that?" asked an Advisor. "Just look at it" said Yasin. Behind her desk was strung a large yellow flag. The bottom-right hand corner was filled with a glorified portrait of Tesla surrounded by a white halo. In the opposite conrer were three four-pointed stars. "We're supposed to be shamans" said Yasin, "But this Tesla worship has gotten out of control. There is even propoganda on our flag now." "The flag is what we stand for" said the advisor, "Which is the great Goddess Tesla. Of course she must be a national symbol". "Don't you see?" barked Yasin, "We're turning into zealots!". It was rare that Yasin got angry, and the advisor backed away slightly in shock. "Well the only way to change the flag would be through a referendum..." said the advisor, "and I can assure you most of the empire would vote for the current flag." Yasin sighed. "When did we become like this?" she asked. "Pardon?" asked the advisor. "The Skawk" continued Tesla, "When did we become so arrogant, so obsessed..." "The one true Goddess was born within our empire's borders" said the advisor, "Does that not entitle us to be a proud empire?" Yasin nearly struck the advisor. "Our species are so gullible" she said in frustration, "That any random person can declare themself a Goddess and the whole empire believes them!" "She has followers" said the advisor, "That also claim she is divine. Many have seen her perform miracles. The evidence is all around you, Mrs. President, the one true Goddess was born as a Skawk". Yasin sighed again. "I see this discussion is going nowhere" she said, "Just get someone to run the referendum." "I feel that would make you even more unpopular ma'am" said the advisor. "Just do it!" demanded Yasin. "No, Mrs. President" stated the advisor, "I remain loyal to Tesla". "You see, this is the problem" said Yasin, "When people are more loyal to their faith than their state, that is when rebellions occur. We do not wish to be a theocracy." "We, as a people, do" said the advisor, "And anyway, why can the Skawk not be loyal to both faith and country?" "Because religion and politics should never mix" said Yasin. "Tesla's power is far greater than yours will ever be..." said the advisor, "Why must you doubt the power of Tesla?" Yasin had had enough of this. "That's it" she said, "You're fired". "I am merely a servant of Tesla!" screamed the advisor. He pulled out a lighter and advanced slowly towards the president. "Put that down" said Yasin. The advisor did not respond. He flicked the lighter on and off. His eyes were unfocused and crazed. Yasin remembered the horrible fate of amatxa, they way he had screamed. It must have been horrible. She wasn't about to sit back and let her undergo the same fate. Yasin pushed the button beneath her desk to call for security. "They will not come" said the advisor, edging ever closer, "They remain loyal to the Great Goddess!" Yasin opened her drawer to find a small handgun. "Where did this come from?" she asked herself, and then remembered. The advisor himself had told her that the Presidential Ship now had real weapons. I guess this was what he had meant. She shot the lighter from the advisor's hand, and it fell to the floor igniting a small area of carpet. "Divine Flame!" screeched the advisor, "Let me bask in your eternal heat!". The advisor went and sat down next to the fire, and rocked back and forth. What has happened to him? Yasin wondered, his obsession with Tesla has driven him insane. Yasin took her chance and ran over to the advisor, shoving him into the flames. The screams haunted Yasin. The pain he must have been going through was unimaginable, to have every tissue of your body burned to ash. As the advisor disappeared into a pile of soot, Yasin ripped a fire extinguisher from the wall and put out the small blaze. The charred corpse seemed to stare at her. Yasin walked back to her desk, and tried to call security again. This time someone came. "We had a situation here" said Yasin. She pointed at the late advisor's charred remains. "He tried to kill me" she said. "Can we deal with it later?" asked the security guard, "We have a bit of a situation". "Now what?" barked Yasin. From her window, she could see as the convoy approached the starboard side of the Divinity. The line of ships seemed to go on forever, but some were not of Skawk design. "Some ships appeared to have breached the Divinity" said the guard, "And now they are targeting the ships of this convoy." "Then we need to get out of the convoy" said Yasin, "Break formation!" "We won't survive without back-up" said the guard. "I said break formation!" said Yasin, "Land this ship in the Divinity's hangar, the other ships can deal with the attack on their own." "Yasin, remember what we said about trying to be a military leader?" asked the guard sarcastically. Yasin glared at him. "Just do it" she ordered, and the Presidential Ship landed on Divinity without a problem. Yasin disembarked with her guards. Sirens wailed in the background. "A lot of the ship is compromised by the sounds of it" said one of Yasin's bodyguards, who was a Phazar, "I suggest we go to the bridge to find out what we should do." "Agreed" said Yasin, and they headed for the bridge. - Divinity - Zadar watched as Zin confronted the Kalins, and quickly scarpered in the opposite direction. Zin watched him leave, but did not follow. Zadar swore. Someone knew about their plot, he would have to find some way off the ship and fast. He made his way down the port side of the ship to the landing bay, and watched as an impressive looking ship covered in patriotic banners landed. An important-looking avian creature and two bodyguards stepped out. One of them glared at Zadar. "OK, I'm going..." said Zadar, and retreated back inside the main part of the ship. He went into the rec room library, which was often empty at this time of day, and waited. The holo-disk recording ended. Jakli struggled against his restraints. "Let... me... out of here!" he cried. Zu looked at him compassionately, and attempted to take the restraints off of her boyfriend, but she was too weak. Tesla was still staring at where the hologram had been projected. The GCU had been planning to kill Zu all this time... Her confusion, her fear, her anxiety boiled down to rage. Suddenly, the door was burst open, and a worried looking 17 came into the room. "Zu!" he exclaimed, "You're OK!" Tesla struck 17. "You're going to kill my daughter!" she screeched, "Come on Zu, we're going." 17 watched as Zu and Tesla left the room. "They made us watch some kind of tape" said Jakli, "It changed them". 17 sighed, and undid Jakli's restraints. "Get back to your room" he said bluntly to Jakli, "I need to find out what's going on". Maline looked at Iyakis. "No..." she said, "I swear Iyakis, I have no knowledge of this". "Are you sure?" asked Iyakis bitterly, "Or is this all some form of despicable revenge?" Maline sighed. "I'm not lying to you, Iyakis" she said, "I don't want you dead. I'm just... confused as to what you have become." - Groxinator - Thayri looked at the bleeding Ironbork, the fear of possible death in the Grox's eyes, and the Sathayr shrugged. "Sooo what?" he said, "You're dying. That makeees two of us." He looked over to the Creator, then back to Ironbork. "I nooo longer care about you" he said to Ironbork, "My loyalty lies elsewhere now". OOC: Ow, 965 words on Yasin. Hurts my brain.

Ironbork tried to smile. If it was one thing he could do, it was laugh in the face of death and prevail.
But he feared it would do no good this time. "Place your loyalty in him..." coughed Ironbork, glaring at the Creator, "And you will only end up a corpse. He never thinks of anyone but himself and who pays him. He was rewarded..." Thayri paused. Ironbork coughed up more blood, "...the Artefacts for his keeping. He wanted them. The Spodelings died and he hates Spode..." "...don't follow that man. The Artefacts cannot be controlled..." Ironbork gave a smile at a repeating video of Djuro, "...unless in the right hands." Zin stared at Kimo. "I am Knight-Commander Zin, and High Commander of the GCU..." he looked at the Kalins from head to toe, "I have one thing to say: those species are not in the GCU so you shouldn't listen to them. Had you killed Iyakis successfully you'd be tried and likely executed." Djuro fluttered through the rec room. He saw Majoris with Ak. Majoris immediately loaded his rifle. "Father!" Ak chirped, "Father is back!" "Not for long..." Majoris fired. The bullet missed the hovering Djuro, and the doors burst open. Spodelings poured in. "It is the Enlightened One!" yelled some, distracting Djuro from the Doch Leader. He roared. Majoris and Ak fled.

- Groxinator -
Thayri gave a cold smile to Ironbork. "I have to show that the right hands are mine then" he said. - Divinity - Zadar peeked out of the library at the Spodelings and Djuro. He swore again as a Spodeling noticed him, and he walked out with his hands in the air. "I don't want any trouble" he said, "Just let me get back to my ship. I'm not based here"

Djuro's mind was fogged. He didn't know who he was, what he was doing, but it felt good. It felt as if he was a God. He was powerful...
He looked at Zadar. "You've walked into the wrong place..." he sharpened his talons. The Spodelings grabbed him, yelling 'unbeliever', 'heretic' and 'usurper to Spode'. Ironbork stared at him. "The Grox Leader died because he was unprepared for Djuro's assault..." Ironbork coughed, "Keep in mind that Djuro will know a coup when he sees one, he is a King. He has dealt with rebellion many a time..." Ironbork looked down at his wound. Blood seeped out. "Fzzzz...fzzzz...fzzzzbork..." he groaned.

"What have I done!?" screamed Zadar as the Spodelings dragged him to the ground, "I'm a believer! Just let me go!"
Across the room, the door burst open. Tesla dragged Zu into the room. "Djuro" said Tesla. She looked at the 'worshippers' he seemed to have collected. She looked back at Djuro. "Djuro, we need to protect Zu. The GCU wants to kill her!". Just as the door closed, it was ripped open again. The door actually fell off its hinges as 17 stormed in, carrying some sort of gun almost as big as him. "What the hell is going on here?" he demanded to know, as the fearsome looking weapon began to charge. - Groxinator - Thayri retrieved a bayonet from a nearby cupboard. He walked back over to Ironbork. "Should I..." he said with a smile, "Put you out of your misery?"

Ironbork's eye lens whirled, zooming in on Thayri and the bayonet.
"Fzzz...bor..." there was an explosion, frying Ironbork's implants and sending blood and guts across the ship. An arm landed on Thayri's shoulder. Djuro laughed. He walked up to 17, who had the monstrous gun pressed to the Gaal King's chest. "Go ahead..." he whispered, "Do it. You know you want to." Tesla glared at him. "...but killing me would result in that little brat there in dying, yes?!" Djuro pointed at Zu in anger. Her heart sank. She had neglected her own father for long enough that he rejected her.

"If I fire this" said 17, "Everyone in this room dies."
Zu looked at 17 horrified. "Don't fire it then!" she screamed. "I have had too many battles with you, Djuro" said 17, "Too many innocents have died by your hand. You keep coming back, but if I fire this there will be nothing left to revive." 17 looked at Tesla, there was fear in her eyes. And he saw the Spodelings, and Zadar. He looked at Zu, huddled up to her mother. They were nothing to do with all this. 17 put the gun down. "I can't do it" he said. - Groxinator - Thayri went up to the bridge to see the Creator. "I have good news" he said grinning, "Ironbork is dead".

"Now only you left to die and then I can go faster on this ship." The Creator scoffed. Thayri eyed him.
Djuro punched 17 to the ground, Zu letting out a shriek. "That is because you are a coward!" He laughed, "Because you cannot kill people for the greater good." He kicked 17 and dismantled the gun. "He's an unbeliever." Djuro stated to the Spodelings, "Throw him out of the airlock." Tolas opened his eyes. The sirens were flashing, the room was turned to a dim red light. Ram was slumped in the corner with a shotgun. Another Spodeling ran in and walalalala with a round. "Fiends!" he exclaimed.
