Skate 2 for PC? - Page 3

Eh it's abit late but I figured since everybody else has put their (sometimes lalalalalalaed) opinions into the thread I figured I would also.

EA might bring Skate II to the pc. They would have to weigh the pros and cons of doing so.

Increased money from their game.
More people playing said game.
Wider array of gamers.

<:CONS:>

They'd have to rework the game so that it can run on Windows XP/Vista/7.
They'd have to create a installer for the game
They'd have to set up a secondary tab in the options so people with lower end computers can tone down the graphics so they can play it.
For those of us who are either too lazy or don't have the money for a 360/gamepad controller then they'd have to rework the controls to work with the mouse/trackball and the keyboard.

Sadly I think the cons outweight the pros of the decision to put Skate 2 onto the pc/mac.

XBOX CONTROLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is only a simply XBOX controller, but with a USB adapter, purchased in the XBOX section of your favourite electronics store, you can play games JUST LIKE ON A CONSOLE!!!!!!

PCs have more computing power than any console unit on the market (if you are a gamer geek like me), and with the use of a console controller ... well... it is just awesome!! Anyone got thier PC hooked up to a 40 inch monitor? The graphics are MUCH superior to any console and just as easy to use! (harder to get started, but once everything is installed, Bob's your Uncle!)

I would love to play Skate2 on my PC! I want to play all games on my PC since I bought this controller!

To those who can't afford a controller: Your PCs will not run it anyway.. stop plugging up the forums. ... and I bet most of you have 4 $70 controllers for your XBOX or Playstation.. now imagine that you have 4 for a much superior gaming machine... invest your next $500 console update on a PC upgrade.
