Why's that funny?
You actually think a multi-national corporation are going to bow down and re-code and re-publish a whole game because 47 school kids send them a scrap of paper with their names on? 100k was generous too, considering they won't do it unless they expect to sell at least 1m copies.

There have already been a couple threads about this already buddy and a lot of people think it will be hard as there would be no way to coordinate the controls to a PC keyboard unless you bought a seperate controller. As many say, its down to EA to decide but nothing in the making at the moment

Really? The both of you obviously have a horrible thought process. Obviously Skate and Skate 2 rely heavily on a controller with analog. You don't think anyone would buy a controller to hook up to their PC if they could play this game on PC. Don't you think they would rather do that than buy a console. |

You have a go at a couple resident posters who simply state the fact that skate relies on analogue controller input, then make exactly the same statement yourself! I don't quite know what your thought process was when you typed that out.

For example...anyone played Shaun White Snowboarding on PC with keyboard?
Its not playable...but...ive just pluged in my controller and there it is...a good snowboarding game. The fact is...they made a game almost not playeble with keyboard...so you gotta play it with controller. So why Skate 2 would be on PC? Made it unplayable on keyboard....so your gonna be forced to buy (if you dont have it) a controller and play the best skateboarding game ever ![]() But the problem is...will EA ever do that? Does EA ever read this forum? Or if they read it....do they care about it? Please EA....bring it to PC...dont dessapoint us now

Please Do a port for Skate 2 . Use the mouse for the board and the keyboard for the skater and sell it for 50 i think the mouse is a good idea to move the board . and so Shaun white is not sold with a XBOX controller but its not playable without a good controller . so if you use the mouse to control the skate its simple and good and if some persons want to buy a controller they can but mouse is great if you calibrate it well
Please just make a port on pc for me I don't have the money to buy a Xbox or a ps3 but I have the money like many players/skaters to buy your game .So I give the idea of the mouse for free use it well :d |

Id never look back though, the mouse is much more responsive, faster and far more accurate than any controller. And as for visual quality, pc ROCKS. the res on consoles games is very low and non-adjustable. it does NOT take a very powerfull machine to out do ps3 or xbox graphically or otherwise. PS. The PS3 gets fps drops running gta4, plough down a busy footpath and you'll see what i mean. this is unacceptable, the one thing you shud be guaranteed when buying a console is that u dont have to worry about new games being too demanding(the #1 hinderance of pc). if anybody can think of any reason why console is better than pc please tell me so i can inform u better. |

Maybe we should start thinking about the next skate game(if they are going to make it) and just hope that the next one will be out on pc. Or if they woun't there is a tony hawk game coming out in fall 2009 or in 2010 and like the wikipedia information says it will be out on microsoft windows.

I was thinking the other day about a couple things regarding Skate PC:
1. Mouse could kind of work, aren't the controls similar on the Wii using the remote? But you'd still be left with keyboard keys for direction. ie digital as opposed to analogue. 2. I say wait until about this time next year. If the new Tony Hawk game sells well on PC over the Christmas period (I'm guessing that's when it'll be out?) then EA will surely want to compete with it. They'll probably put some effort into it too. And maybe I'm getting old, but I have no idea what the previous post says.

All I understood from the above was that maybe you should have spent less time studying computers and more time learning grammer.
And that you can't afford an XBox or PS3, but you can afford to lalalalala a $950 on a PC?!
