It's obvious that a lot of people want to see skate. on the PC, and this is something we have fed back to the developers on several occasions. There are, however, no current plans to release skate. on the PC. If this situation changes, we'll be sure to let you know .

Community feedback is appreciated regardless, and that's certainly not a reason for skate. not to be released on the PC!

If developers and publishers took that attitude we wouldn't see any games released, on any platform .

I can see this has been touched on already in many threads, but I am all for Skate being released on the PC. I will not be buying a Crimosoft or Blueray-pushed machine, so PC will be the only way for me pay for this game. Unless I win one in a bet of course (the way I got my PS2).

As far as it being "too next gen" for PC... If Crysis runs at 50fps on mid-level desktops now, then I am guessing that Skate would run pretty well.

Also, I have heard people say that controllers are the thing that makes this game, and I completely agree, but like many guys using PCs for gaming we have adapters to use our favorite console controllers - I have been using a PS2 controller for gaming on the PC for years.

So please EA, bring this one to PC!

The problem here would be the Flickit controll system. It wouldn't be too practical on the PC. Obviously some people have Xbox 360 PC controllers but not everyone has them.

well then the people should cater themselves. If they want the game bad enough they would get a controller and use it on more then just SKATE.

this game would be great for pc, and i think if people dont have controllers for skate the flickit controls should be used with a mouse and same directions exactly as u would on a xbox

Default "Skate" 4 PC

Hey Guys.

"Skate" 4 PC, would actually be a breakthrough, cause about 80% of all skaters in the world have a PC in some how.

I have Logitech Chillstream "XBOX360" it would be the perfect controller for "Skate".

And i don't know about you guys? But i'm sick and tired of the "Tony Hawk's" games, they have nothing to do with skateboarding at all!!!...

It's grown to a ridiculously game of nonsence, with clowns etc. stuff.

So if EA is even considering to launch "Skate" for PC, then would about 250.000+ skaters be very happy.

EA could launch 2 different packages with "Skate", the 1st package (SKate + XBOX360 controller) and 2nd package (Skate only), and maybe with extra feature that never been shown in the consolegame or something???!!!...

If you want it so bad BUY A FRICKIN PS3 OR XBOX.. 360's can be picked up for around £140 now. You also get to play gta4.

hehe, you're funny. i would say the x360 is _really_ last gen compared to the newest pc hardware. even in dez. 2007. but stay with your opinion that you have a "next gen console" at home that beats actual pcs.. /scnr. still grinning!

to those "lawl go buy a ****ty console for only one game" sayers: no.

on topic:
giev skate. for the pc. pleaaaase, it looks like the best skateboarding game ever made. tonyhawk sux donkey ballz.. :-)

I'd like to refer you to an article as to why Force Unleashed isn't on PC. Why Force Unleashed is not on PC

“it’s going to be not as good or only for a select few people.” Basically a port of a console game would be rubbish, or not enough people would have good enough pc's for it to be a viable financially.

And as for buying consoles for 'only' one game? Skate, Metal Gear 4, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo 5 and GTA4 until recently to name few which interest me.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against skate on pc. Just that there's plenty of great console exclusives that I find it a little short sighted to consider skate to be the only game worth owning out of all games available on 360 and ps3.
With high def tellies now commonplace, a ps3 is one of the cheapest bluray players on the market to take advantage of that 40" plasma, while 360's on ebay are as little as £120.

For my opinion...if they somehow release Skate on PC...Its easyer for me to buy a game and a controller then buying a new Xbox 360 and a game for it.
So...EA....i beg you....release SKATE for PC....all of us are gonna be grateful to you.

PS-And i got controller for PC already...so all i need to do is buy a game...if EA will be gracious to us...and release game to PC.

Why we need to buy consoles when we can have it on PC!
Thanks
