game wont run

Hi all, i am new to the sims so am starting with the original but am having trouble with expansion packs, i installed in this order, sims, livin it up, holiday and unleashed but it tells me everytime that i installed holiday last and has to update, then it uninstalls the sims so i have to start again every time does anyone know how to solve this problem before i give up and bin the sims?? thanks Fi

it does this cause you havent installed them in order. just install them all, then it will ask you to reinstall the latest expansion pack you have... so then install it. Have fun, the sims 1 owns the sims 2 and the sims 3

sism 3 sucks big time.
