Default Is it worth getting

As Sims 1 is only £17 for the complete set, I thought about getting it. I saw some pictures and I could see there were more community lots, one in particular was a fair ground (I think) I have all the Ep's for Sims 2, well I will have come Thursday as I have ordered BV. I understand too that it is a lot harder than Sims 2.

The Sims is a very good game for me. I wish though to know where I could buy.

Fairgrounds came with Makin' Magic. Obviously Sims 2 built upon Sims 1 so it will be more basic than Sims 2, however with all the expansion packs there is still plenty to do and it is still a great game

Oh and you can pick up second hand copies in UK stores for very cheap, ZaekanoYto, although I'm not sure where you live there may be somewhere similar. Otherwise try places like Ebay or online shops.

Oh men I live in the Philippines. The only shop I know that sells original games here is DataBlitz. Yet the last time I went to a DataBlitz shop at Alabang Town Center (gosh you might not understand what that is) there were The Sims 2 actually and The Sims 3, and oh I bought The Sims 3, but no The Sims 1 well atleast I saw an expansion pack (Hot Date) for The Sims 1 but no base game, also I'm hoping for Unleashed.

If there aren't second hand game stores there then your best bet would be online. I'm sure you could get them on ebay but I'm not sure on the serial codes and whether you'd be able to install and register the game. I'd have a search around online, maybe some places still sell it new on the internet.

I have all of the first Sims games and their expansion-packs, and let me tell you, they are great. (:
There is Makin' Magic, Superstar, Vacation, Pets, Dating, and a few more I believe. I still play the first Sims a lot of the time and It's still my favorite out of all the Sims.

I think its a good game, I mean the originals are always the best right? Plus for only £7, you cant not buy a game for that price !!!!

I bought my original Sims secondhand and had no trouble with the serial codes for installing...

The Sims is still a good play, it shows you the roots to the best selling game of all time! ^_^ Even I still play it.

The Sims 1 has better artistry than Sims 2.
It has way better sceneries.
Love playing it

Yup, but it's truly sad though that my computer is broken, so I couldn't play The Sims 1 currently now

That sucks man. Get it repaired. We all know how much you love the Sims and we would not want you to suffer from withdrawl. lol

Ya, it's truly sad. But I couldn't seem to do much about it now, there are some problems. This is a very big thing. One of the reasons why I made the thread to put The Sims 1 on PSP
