I sold my original sims ages ago. I wish I'd saved some of my pics. I had one family who where like 1940's and they were in black and white and everything. I made all the clothes and heads, and everything in the house was black and white. It was mint.

My computer would probably die

And it would be extremly hard. I wish I'd kept my pictures now

Besides, everytime there was a neighbor around it would add a little bit of colour and the grass was green.

I always loved that wallpaper that the goths had in their house- the coffin liner wallpaper or whatever it is. They made a similar one for sims 2 but it wasa bit more vibrant.

I'm getting rather nostalgic! As soon as i get home from my boyfriends I'm going to attempt to load Sims 1 again, as long as Epson lets me grr...

Sorry to hear you haven't managed to load your Sims.
I had this problem too and am not certain how I got round it but I did!
I know I did give you a solution but as that hasn't worked, try disabling your Epson printer (unplug it) then try and install your Sims.
If that fails, you could uninstall the Epson programme and after installing the sims, re-install?
Wishing you luck!

You know, the graphics aren't half bad. I thought looking at old pictures would make me laugh, but really, the Sims was bloody awesome. Wish I kept some pictures.

Those pictures bring back some very happy memories for me. Far too many hours have been lost to the ether playing The Sims.

Nice, I never realised you could get Father Christmas in the game until way after the last expansion had been released. Thus I didn't see him often but it was nice when he arrived. A great addition to the game.
