Ooh, hard. My top faves were makin' magic, hot date, superstar, unleashed, and superstar. Livin it up and house party were more or less just stuff packs.

I got onto 5 stars! All you need is Makin' Magic as well as Superstar. Act or sing your way to at least 2.5 stars. Go home and wait for a fat guy in a blue overcoat to come to your house. watch him closely. After a few more visits, he will leave black roses. Instead of cleaning them up, store them in your inventory. Look in your spell book and there will be a charm for black roses, along with other ingredients. Make and cast the charm and you wil be given a 4.5 star status. Act, make a video or do an album enough times and you will go to 5 star staus!

For me, either hot date or unleashed. I never really got into superstar or makin' magic I'm afraid to say.
Might have another forray into the original sims again, as it's quite different to sims 2.

Hi Sytuckon1, welcome to the forums.

I remember that charm, I think I only used it once though to test it out. The only problem I found was that every time the Obsessed Fan left Black roses for my sim, Alfred the Butler would clean them up before I noticed they were there and could send my sim to collect them.

I managed it in the end though.

I don't know if someone has been on here for awhile and will read this but I thought that Vacation was the best because you could go snow boarding and build lodges. My second favorite was Living Large because it was the second expansion pack that they came out with and had so many things to offer through items and you got a robotic butler which was the only thing I was mad about when they came out with The Sims 2. The fact that they didn't have it and you had to call a maid.

Super Star and Makin' Magic were my favorite expansion packs by far, They had lots of fun things to do. The highest rating I got in superstar was a 4.0 but it only lasted a day or two, forgot to go back to studio town one day -_-

i had them all but toward the end of the collection my computer was slowing down with them all so i never got to explore all aspects but before it went slow my fav was hot date everything about it was great, my least fav was makin magic

Unleashed, because of the gardening and the pets. And Making Magic because of the baking and the vines and stuff...
But really, I love them all... Except Living Large, which gave us those awful wallpapers and floors in Mashuga-chic...

I would say Makin' Magic but i only have 3 - Makin' Magic, On Holiday and Unleashed.
But loads of people have said Superstar, now I feel like I'm missing out! But I don't wanna buy it now, too excited over Sims 3!

My favorite was easily Makin' Magic, purely on the basis of the little details such as the spells and wine making.
Second was probably Superstar, It's awesome that they brought back the beauty treatments in TS3. (:
