Default Sims life - rleys story

Need help.

Playing Rileys Story. Have got into free play mode as Riley & Mikey both deceasd.
Now playing Kincaid Family. Have two babies. Sims both work 08:00-15:00. So called nanny (Jan). Only problem is Jan is now stuck next to one of the baby's cots. Can't get Sims to interact with her, have tried shoo & dismiss options. Sims aslo can't interact with baby.

Any suggestions?

Hey there, welcome to the forums. Since you are in Free Mode I understand you should be able to use cheats now.

To open the cheat box press the Ctrl + Shift + C keys at the same time, (hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together then hit the C key).

Mow enter the cheat:

moveobjects on

and press enter, if you enter the buy mode you should be able to pick up the nanny and move her away from the baby's cot. When finished you can use the cheat:

moveobjects off

and press enter to switch it off again. If you still have trouble interacting with baby, try switching the cheat on again then deleting the nanny.

For other cheats you can use with Life Stories, see The Sims Life Stories Cheats, Codes, and Secrets for PC - GameFAQs.

Default Rileys Story

Did what you suggested. Got rid of the nanny by deleting her & the bloody social worker turned up & took both babies.

Now what?

Arrgg no, I'm sorry to hear that, the needs of the baby must have dived during the glitch.

I don't suppose you've still got the game running in the background and not saved yet? If so exit without saving, otherwise you're stuck there I think. Are your sims young enough still to have another child? For future reference check the list of cheats I posted earlier and use the maxmotives cheat to fill the needs bars if you get a similar problem.

Default Nother question

Playing last night & twice got message saying the application had crashed & would shut down. Is there a problem with the Sims disc or my computer?

Default Bought Game

I bought the game in November from a book sale at work. So someone has owned it before me. Don't know if they played it though.

safc5573, i think you should go to http://sims-life-stories.weebly.com/ and go to there own sims life stories, and sign up for the Free VIP Zone. I am a member of the vip zone and they give you free exclusive support from a computer technician and a maxis employee, i got those questions from the help section of http://sims-life-stories.weebly.com/ forum.

i was stuck once on the sims things and i got help from both, and my issue is resolved, no problem!

i think you have to sign up, to the vip zone, and once approved, they send you a email with the address you need to contact for your free support, and tell you a free cheat that is hard to find!

Default Worried about Sims Life Stories game purchased online

I purchased my laptop last year in August and it contained a demo version of Sims Life Stories. I then purchased the game using the online prompt and recieved an email as confirmation on the 20th of August 2008 for registering my copy. However I was extremely surprised and disappointed last weekend when upon completing a task on my game I suddenly had a message window saying my trial version had expired and I must now purchase the game online. According to my mom's Barclaycard creditcard statement, payment of £22.98 was made to EA Store on 20/08/08. On 26/08/08 a further amount was added for Paypal*matchingsol, 35314369001. On 27/08/08 a further amount of US$12.93 ( £7.24) was deducted for Easyroommate Com SG U Internet. I have brought this issue up with EA UK but I am still waiting for a response.

Has anyone else ever experienced the same problem?
