Hi all,
When I'm running the game it continually skips every 3-4 seconds rather briefly. The game is playable, but only just as the frequent jitters are rather annoying. I have a brand new laptop which meets the minimums specs of the game easily. I've tried turning all the graphics down to the minimum et cetera, just in case, and it makes no difference. The only thing I can think of is that the cd may be scratched, yet it's pretty much in perfect condition apart from a small mark on the very inside of the disc, on the shiniest bit ( ).Cheers for any help. |

Hi magers789, welcome to the forum.
The disk being scratched shouldn't cause constant jittering as it's only needed to install the game and to verify it's a valid copy while it loads up. I think it's more likely to be sound or graphic driver related, or background tasks/processes causing interference. I'd suggest updating the drivers for your sound and graphics cards (see your laptop manufacturers web site initially to check for these) first, then try shutting down Background Tasks before playing to see if either of these solves the problems. If not, I'd suggest you contact the support team directly for further assistance, contact details are in the Support Fourm.
