any questions about sims life stories

hi sorry if this has alredy been posted but i was looking round and i thaught i'd start a questions thread so if you have any questions and want answers come here.


i'll start it off in vincent's story how can i get vince to repair the stero he has got max skill but still gets electricuted and i can't call the repair me because he is not in my phone book.

any ideas?

Is he in a good mood? Are his needs filled?
That can often make a difference to how well a sim gets on with electrical repairs.

i'm stuck on the first chapter of vince, i've completed his first wants and its still stuck on please wait, how long until it changes? to the next want? all it says is please wait?

also in riley's story i've kinda lost the plot on it, i got dylan and the other guy to like her then they went to the gym, she went into the hot tub, her and the other guy fell out but now the story seems to have gone?

any ideas?
i know this seems long winded but i've already started this game 3 times i don't want to have to start it again.

Excuse me, but that is the whole point of having a sub~forum for Life Stories.

People should make their own threads so that Moderators etc. can answer specific problems rather than having to traul through this one, which can be an even bigger problem if this thread gets too big.

if it is the missions then he is meant to get electricuted

i done getting a maid and chatting to pete i've also been to bed on the saturday night as it says what a day and something about the day seizing him then i've been waiting and waiting its now monday night in the game and i'm still waiting.

any help?

do you mean instead of the main wants and the 3 normal wants there is just the 3 normal wants

i mean that the goal want just turns into a normal want.

i have since started this game from scratch and its still annoying me after getting back from work and dylan rings, the aunt game back and a pop up came saying there has been an error in the game and it will restart from the default saved setting!!! how annoying!!!!

anyone else had that problem?

The repair man isnt in Vincents phonebook, have you clicked "service", and "repairman" ?
