Default Property Challenge 2009

Seeing as we have a few months until TS3 is out, I thought we should have another property challenge. If anyone is up for it of course.
Anyways, the challenge is to build an apartment/house for a newlywed couple.

It's that simple

CC is allowed.
All EPs and SPs allowed

Well have fun

Closing date, 2nd April

Oooh, great idea - I was just thinking we needed a property competition.
I might enter if I have time, though there'll be a lot of competition after seeing some of those lots in the Lots thread recently!

I might change the closing date if people still need some time to make the house

Yeah, good idea.
And maybe post about it in the Lots thread or something like that, as unfortunately not many people tend to look at this part of the forum nowadays.

Is there a set price range?
Can it be furnished or unfurnished?

I think I shall have a go at this

Is there a limit to the amount of money I can use to build the house ?

Ok, here is my entry.

Sugar Cube

Living Area

Upper Hallway

Study

Main Bedroom

Guest Bedroom

Nursery (just in case!)

Garden

There are two toilet/bathrooms -don't worry i'm not that cruel, but I didn't think they were that interesting. And they're hard to get pictures of too, as they're not exactly the largest of spaces...

I've wanted to post houses on this board for ages, just never plucked up the courage.
But now I'm entering this contest with an Art Noveux themed house made especially for this challenge, though lookingback over the other two entries it's now really up to par. Still, it's nice to share.

So firstly, three outside shots:

As you can see, I wanted an odd shape. I don't think I pulled it off too well though - and it's a tad too small.

Now for the cluttered inside - How do people manage to get spacing so right?

Shot of eating area and half of a living room:

The other side:

Lounge and Chess area:

Continued

Bedroom:

Hehe, I forgot to take an image of the bathroom. It's black and pretty modern, contrasting with the rest of the house.

If you want a child in the house, you could convert part of th study, I suppose.

So, vote for me? Please?

An any critism is welcome - I want to impove my technique.

That's a nice house JohnnyDeppLuva, but it's too big for my liking, when I think of newlywed couple, I see not much money and a small house to start of with, but looks like you see it differently.

But not my place to say if it's too big or too little, that's upto Simlish3
