The demise of the challenges forum

Ok since the move to these new forums as far as i'm concered not one single challange has been properly completed.

It used to be fun. On the old forums the challanges fourm was almost as busy as the others but now it's completely silent. It's the thing i have missed most since the move and I still do.

On the old forum you had to book places in competitions.

Sign up in the following post if you miss the old challanges forum and help me save it.

if anyone would like to help by creating banner or those small linky icons.
In the meantime could you please put the following thread in your signature to bring back the challanges forum

"Saving" it involves getting members who are already aware of this section of the board to put effort into something they may not be all that concerned about. Near the end of TS2UK recall the challenges board being quite empty anyway.

I think it's one of those things that people seem to have lost interest in now. Same with the diaries.

well if they dont wanna do it they wont...it not like shes forcing them to, shes only saying if you want challenges and competitions to stay and be more active then say so.....

i dunno what it was like before but all the time on forums i tend to do them for various games..so itd be nice to keep it here

I hardly go on the Sims anymore.. but I think there should be more EA made challenges.
Then people would probably do it.

I don't miss it at all, actually. I was never a huge fan of the challenges even before we were even given a board for them.

It is a shame that this forum is much quiet than it was previously, and that there are less challenges than before there was even a dedicated forum for them. I think it would be nice to see some go all the way through to completion

The house building ones were always very popular.

I liked looking at all the entries, and occasionally putting myself in for one.

Well this is my idea that could bring a new challanges aspect to this forum

there could be a large challanges forum for all kinds of games not just sims.

Like for some of the combat games there could be best war pose or something like that.

Spore i have no clue but best looking/ugliest moster. and sim city best city scape

tell me what you think?

I was never on the old forums, but I love checking the challenges because they look interesting (well, the dead ones)... but there's never a completed one =[
