complete novice sims complete collection need help not loadi

i have spent the last two days trying to get this to work i get as far as getting the sims creator to work where u can create the sims but when it loads up showing you to click on the house it carrys on loading and will not do anything else i end up having to close down the pc to take it off any help gratefully accepted its driving me mad

Hi CarolvlPlayer, welcome to the forums. Go through the suggestions in this EA article on crashes/lockups at the neighbourhood screen.

If they solve the problem then I'd recommend you contact the Electronic Arts Customer Support Team directly for further assistance.
