Loading Screens

I have all the sims 1 games installed apart from hot date and the sims 2 and nightlife. my loading screens take 5 mins to load, not joking! can anyone help! plz

i'll move this to the sims 1 forum for you..

from what i remember they always did take forever to load, if you have a lot of custom content that might be one of the reasons.

Yeah! The loading screens always did take 'years'. Your not the only one, but I seem to recall that mine took 7 minutes and 42 seconds!!
