error. please help. i cant play

i tried to post this on the sims 3 commuinity but i cant read the posts for some reason...
anyways everytime i try to load my fmaily it shows this

please help. i tried googling it but not much shows up

edit: i know its too small. it says: a serious error has ocurred while loading 'sunset valley.sims3'. It is strongly recommended that you restart the applicaton.

It might be worth trying to load your game using a backup file. You can find out how to do so here:

But I think if it was me then rather than delete the files, I might paste them on to my desktop just in case.

If you are still having problems reading posts on ts3.com, the bulk of the post is quoted below:

Troubleshooting/FAQ's
Question:
I don't have a SIMS3 file, but I do have a backup file. What can I do?
Answer:
Try making a copy of your backup file, and then renaming it to end with .sims3.

Question:
There are only two files - .sims3, and .bad. What do I do?
Answer:
Delete your .bad file. Don't worry about having no backup file. The game will regenerate one, automatically.

You could try restoring the last backup of your saved game. To do that, browse to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. Change the .sims 3 on the end of "sunset valley.sims3" so it becomes "sunset valley.old"

Then take the .backup bit off the end of "sunset valley.sims3.backup" so it becomes "sunset valley.sims3", and try loading the game again.

It would seem the sims 3 site is broke again.When you click on the post or try to make one you get the exception error.This happened earlier today and is happening again.I wish they would hurry up and get this fixed for good.
