Anyone else disappointed that the patch only caters for 8 bugs? (Oh, and only fixes "some issues" of those 8, don't forget).

I've read several times that this patch fixes the black screen issue, before i get my hopes up, can someone confirm this?

The patch works like a dream for me on the speed issue.

Gah, the game is still an unplayable jerky mess for me. I was hoping this patch would fix it and I would finally be able to play

Terrible Performance

If the devs haven't addressed the problem then I'm assuming it's a graphics driver issue. I'll just have to wait for the next catalyst and see if that sorts it.
40 quid well spent. It'll be selling for 10 quid in the bargain bins by the time I get to play the ruddy thing

Well the patch is working fine for me. Must agree with Miss Voldy so relieved the speed issue has been fixed.

This patch has been fantastic for me. The only problem my game had was the speed issue when they are all sleeping, this patch has really sorted that out!

I hope they patch the burglar thing soon, that's the only thing that's messing up in my game!

Sorry but what does "AA" mean?

In regards to the patch... I had two attempts downloading it because my stupid computer blocked it the first time but were all good now. I played TS3 yesterday but spent most of the time building a house and making a family but didn't get to play it. I did mess with the speeds briefly and it works well now. Just like TS2 speeds again... which is what we all needed.

All those other problems you've all been mentioning, I haven't had any of those. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones.

Vista in my eyes is problematic not just for TS3 but most things. If I were to have those problems, I would upload the previous Windows insteads... works so much better in the long run. Although I have run it with Vista too and had no problems then either. Not sure why though?!

Antianaliasing. It's what decides whether you get jagged or smooth edges. Might be you've got slight 'problems' but you just don't notice them at all.

I played TS2 on Vista, and I'm playing TS3 on Vista, both worked and work fine for me.

It did work for me too but I guess I'm just an anti-Vista person lol.

Default Lag since patch

Ever since i have installed the 1.2.7 patch, my game now lags quite badly when scrolling around, its fine when i arnt moving the screen, but if i do it lags quite badly, the recomended settings were all on high and before the patch it never did this, but even turning them down doesnt help, i have tried uninstalling loads of stuff to make more space, still the same. The game is completely playable, and im probably making it sound worse than it actually is, but i just wondering if there is any way to get it running as smoothly as it did before? Any help appriciated, thanks in advance.
