Default Need Help {Music}

Hey guys hope your all keeping well

Ok, cutting to the chase, i'm really wanting to be able to play my own music over the radio on The Sims 3. Now I have done some research and everybody seems to be putting there music into a Custom Music file located in your Sims 3 folder, so of I went and found the Custom Music folder and I deleted the music in there and started adding my own collection.

This didn't work

So i started browsing the forums again and cam across topics that stated the files had to be Mp3/Mp4 so off I went, downloaded a converter and converted a song into Mp3, tried it, no success, Mp4 no success, wma, no success. So know I'm puzzled Can anybody help?

I'm putting the music into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\CustomMusic

Another strange thing is, the Custom Music is still playing despite me deleting the original files in there

Please Help

Thanks Alot

Hmm, I may have a solution but I'm not sure

When you go into The Sims 3 folder, isn't there a folder there that just says 'Custom Music' because thats what I open to put my own music in? If there is, just put your Mp3 files straight into there and it should work.

If not, sorry, but I can't help you here, as I haven't got a folder which says Game Data.

You have to go to:

(My) Documents - Electronic Arts - The Sims 3 - Custom Music

That folder is where the game sources its custom music from.

It will if you rip it in .mp3 format - which most media players will do.
