I'm disappointed with the entire game now. It's starting to crash randomly on me and I'm getting these stupid error codes.

I loved the game but I'm getting turned off to it. EA needs to release a patch that actually fixes something!

I hate the blandness of my Sims. Sims 2 was more defined, which helped those who had not the best eyesight.

I love it. Only problem I have now is that when my sim was teaching her little one to talk, it got stuck, and all their needs got so low, they should have been dead
Gunna have to restart that family me thinks!!

My game hasn't crashed once and the only problem I had is once when using testingcheatsenabled true to mess around, the sims went see-through and the town view got cut into different coloured sections.

I don't mind so much some things - like the work places and that - being a rabbit hole. However, in Sims 2 I was able to go into the grocery store and a "spa" if I wanted and so those things I would like back. In fact, community lots in general really need to be added on and I realize that can come with an EP but between the base game and 15 some EP and SPs, I don't think any computer will be able to run it!

And something does need done / changed about transportation in the sims. I really liked owning a car a WHOLE lot better in Sims 2 - in sims 3, what's the point?

My point exactly, Simrealtor.

Oh, I have one more point of contention to take up with the (obviously male) programmers: What have you got against fat chicks? You make all these beautiful clothes that fit the skinny/slender/average body just fine...but when you try to put the same ensemble on a "curvilicious" woman (pear shaped, like moi, even)...they look like cheap prostitutes. And the other more modest choices aren't that much better. In fact, EA only offers the rubinesque ladies (that's a fancy way of saying FAT) two choices: hooker or frump.

I made a Sim who looked like me...pear shape and all. Trying to find her some outfits to wear that didn't make her look silly was a trip and a half. I finally managed, but I wasn't too happy about it.

There are two online catalogs I know of that cater to the bigger sized woman: Blair's and Lane Bryant. It might be worth a look for you guys to get inspired to drum up some outfits with the larger women in mind.

Justa thought.

Mine used to constantly. I removed EA game manager, and my son fixed something that was coming up with a message my Ilamad (s)( some name like that) drive was not working. Since then not one crash in 3 days. I am amazed.

I agree with this, there is not much point to having a car. We should at least be able to have more interactions. Also has anyone noticed that when the Sim is driving they don't turn the steering wheel once.

Another poor aspect of the game is that the only possible work colleagues as well as the only possible frinds / romances are those in the neighbourhood.

With each of the two characters I played, I had to look for ages finding a decent romance, always running into roughly the same people, most of whom were already engaged.

In the glorious criminal career, the mob is made out of myself and the boss, a bagman, I assume the emperor of evil makes for a third character - some empire ! -> I figured it not being able to befriend accomplices - not having any !

That may have something to do with how many people the game thinks your neighborhood can handle according to your specs. I would imagine that computers with more RAM would have a bigger population than those whose specs are lower would.

I have about 1.50 GB of RAM and I have noticed there aren't a *whole* lot of people in my neighborhood or on the community lots.

I have 4 gigs of RAM and I think they need to allow people and interaction beyond the neighbourhood, or else your career will be a place where you should promote yourself It's too small a world.

Let there be visitors from beyond the neighbourhood, let there be actual work colleagues from beyond.

I think the Creats a Sims is great, but there're still so many problems with that. At first, why can't I change the thickness of eyebrows anymore? The second, in The Sims 2, I can adjust sims' whole mouth in or out, create sims who have curl mouth or not, but why it doesn't exist anymore in The Sims 3?

About the gameplay, every sims except mine never learn more skill, promote, or have any new relationships. They standing still in their house, or just hanging around all the time, without doing anything. Then what the point the whole neighbourhood grow up with my sims?

Fat chicks are portrayed fine in the game, gross. It's just a lot harder to deceive yourself when it's in a video game.

Every time i call the repair man or the babysitter all they do is stand outside and get nothing done, when my sim gets back from work the baby is in a really bad mood and the repair man is still outside and a big puddle is left. anyone else have this problem ?

Also when i zoom into lots all the furniture is just white/grey and has no patterns on it, They go back to normal after a minute or so but it is still quite annoying. I have altered some of my graphics but no change
