Default Write to EA

Can some one send an email etc. to EA requesting them to make a patch to fix the problems being had with Story progression, because it is ruining alot of peoples games and i would like to see it fixed, i am no good at writing formal emails etc. so if any one would volunteer to do it, it would be greatly appriciated

How about adding in that the game desperatly needs patches for other things too? I have heard there are a few glitches that people would like fixed xD Though I have to say the Story Progression patch is needed most ^.^

I agree that Story Progression is in dire need of repair first, so if anyone would write to EA and ask for it to be fixed that would be awsome

Not sure they'll take notice if they can't read it.

I don't think you need to tell them. They'll figure it out themselves and sooner or later we'll get a patch.

What is the story progression glitch???

Surely you are joking? Just because he sends an email doesn't mean they will do anything. Besides, Aurora and Adroit SURELY know about the glitches anyway so they will say something about it.

Myself and Adroit write regular reports for all games titles and I am writing one currently for The Sims 3 full of your feedback and suggestions.

I will of course talk about your thoughts on this area and lots and lots of others too

That padlocking idea is really good! I hope it gets incorporated.

Thanks Aurora, i really hope they can get a patch for this ASAP.

Personally i am the kind of simmer who sticks with one family until i get bored with them and make a new one so really the Story progression glitch doesnt effect me too much, but when the stroy progression gets patched i wont be doing this as much, i will be mixing and matching familys etc.

EDIT: Go to this thread to read what is wrong with it Story Progression - Solutions Thread !

In short, the story progression is causing problems for people because the neighbourhood has a kind of mind of its own. If there are too many sims, it will move a family out, thus deleting them, which causes annoyance.

Another thing it does is make people have children randomly in an unused family, often with just one parent!
So basically the whole community is ticked off about this, and they're having trouble turning the story progression off.

Everyone is complaining about this on the main Sims 3 improvements/feedback forum, so don't worry, EA will see it.

I think they will have already noticed these problems, and have started working on a patch.

Btw people there is a moded object on MTS3, and one of its functions is storyprogreesion, the creator says this allows you to set it to Active/Unatctive(off)/Accelerated. Now i wonder if the off option ACTUALLY works, unlike the off option in the game menu
