I just found out today that The Sims 3 may or may not have SecuROM. My question is this: does it have SecuROM or not?
I've read so many different answers from different sites and I'm so confused. Will it also have limited installs? (I really hope not).

I'm really sorry, if these questions have been asked before, but i really need some answers!

Hey Col first of all welcome to the forums. There is no Securom in the sims 3; they actually released a statement weeks ago saying this.

I'm pretty sure I have read from an official EA thing that it doesn't have SecuROM but I will try and find where it said it.

From what I've managed to gather, the Digital Download does have Securom, while the physical DVD won't. The DVD also doesn't have a limited number of installs, and I'm unsure about the Digital Download.
