Default Pointless features you wish Sims/2/3 had but don't expect ever

Thread inspired by the fact I'd love it if you could export floorplans of houses, complete with furniture placements but don't expect that to ever be included in any Sims game.

*goes off to draw up a plan of a mansiony thing he needs as a reference framework for a one-shot tabletop rpg session he may actually get round to running at some undefined point in the future*

There's a multitasking things they can do now, that I know of.
Like they can talk on the phone, talk to other sims, and watch Tv all while holding their baby!

I'm sure there's more as well.

I'm not sure what pointless things I'd want them to do...hm..maybe bird watching? :P

I wanted to bird watch in sims 2, but I could never get it to work.

The ability to go inside of every building, i think it might get added in the future, but that's my answer cause i want it. XD

I never got that expansion, so I couldn't do it anyways.

Gnomes vs. Flamingos - a no holds barred, cut throat, backyard, web browser based game where the flamingos try to steal hats from the over glorified door stops and they fight back with garishly confounding patterened parasols.

See, it's like this..... gnomes are an ungraciously bald people and hide their shame with comically conical caps. Flamingos are rather put off by this vain display of hypocritical haberdashery (especially since the hats come in all colors except pink)and wonder what exactly they are hiding under there. Using their long legs, they stalk gnomes in an attempt to bite clear through the offending headware and shead some light on the situation so to speak. Long story short, they like gnomes, but they just can't "frustum."

You didn't miss anything, all they did was look through a pair of binoculars and you would get a bubble over their head with a picture of a bird.

I always wished the sims could do more household cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, laundry, mowing the lawn, etc. It would probably make the game seem tedious, but it would be more realistic. Neat sims could have a blast with this (I'm a neat sim).

Wait a sec...Did I just call myself a sim?

I second the floor plans! I don't like to import houses... because I'd rather build them myself. A floor plan would be a nice reference, but allow you to branch off and do your own thing.

It's a minor thing, but I would enjoy even more ability to customize body shapes in even more detail. For those of you with your minds in the gutter, I do not only mean breast size! LOL

It seems good the way it is too though, and I do realize the added difficulty of getting all the meshes to work properly with even more body shapes is probably not worth it, but whatever...

I'm with Donna and Soulfire, farms and body shape customisation.

I'd like the farm to be low maintenance where you feed animals, milk cows, collect eggs and ride horses. No training or such lalalala. Then you can sell your produce to the farmer's market.

I also like the idea of Sims mowing the lawns on Saturday afternoons. Green Thumbs can get a positive moodlet when they smell the freshly cut grass. Also clean the car would be awesome.

I also think it'd be great if Neat Sims had the option to mop/sweep/vacuum. Only them though; it doesn't have to be essential but I think it'd be great if they got a kick out of it.

I would like to have more body shapes with different parts like; stomach, hips, legs, breasts. It would be good for them to be on a slider like muscle and fat on the sims 3.

After all, everyone is different

Yeah I agree with the body shapes as well, would be awesome =]
And I agree with the no training stuff, that would be a hassle.

So do I.
Height too, that would be good, mainly because then I could create myself at a small 5 ft 2

I'd want the household cleaning thing too. They could have sheds with lawnmowers in etc.

And their cars could break and they'd have to take them to the shop. (:

Adjusting the height of a Sim without screwing up the animations in doing so.
