Play The Sims™ 3

Are you 16 or over?

Do you live in the UK?

Are you free on May 4th?

Can you answer 'yes' to those questions? Then how would you like to have a chance at winning yourself some hands-on time with The Sims 3?

We are offering 40 fans the chance to join us for a hands-on sessions at HMV Gamerbase in Manchester and London on the afternoon of Monday May 4th. The winners (20 for each venue) will have an allocated 2 hour slot in which to have their first chance of playing The Sims 3.... a month before it releases!

In order to be in with a chance to win, you need to persuade us that you are someone that should have the opportunity to play The Sims 3 at these events. You have 50 words in which to state your case and do your best persuading.

All entries should be PM'd to EAUK_Competitions

(you’ll therefore need an EA account to log into the forums to enter)

Along with your entry, please provide the following information:

* Your name
* Your age
* Your preferred location- London or Manchester
* A contact email address (so we can contact the winners)

Please note:

1. The closing time for entries is midnight GMT on Wednesday 29th April

2. Places are limited to 20 slots per venue. 40 in total. Each slot will last 2 hours in total including handover

3. Any entries that do not include all of the requested details or comply with the task set will not be considered

4. An EA account is required to enter

5. The contact email address will only be used to run the promotion, will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted at the end

6. The winners may bring a friend along but the friend will either have to share the two hour slot or watch, they will have no allocation. Guests must also be over 16.

7. You must be over 16 to enter

8. No travel, food or other expenses will be paid so please consider this before you enter

9. All decisions regarding winners are final

10. Winners will be notified by email by midnight Friday 1st May

11. This event is a closed event and only the winners will be admitted

Stupid school, stupid exams. ¬.¬ Can't you re-organise it to a Saturday?

It's on a Monday bank holiday, so you shouldn't have college/school anyway.

I wish I had some way of getting up there.

I'm also out at a gig that night too so there's no chance of going.

It is likely that no pictures or video will be able to be taken. When we last went to play we were not able to although the results can be seen in the video in the stickied thread.

Why not ask a parent or relative to go with you it could be valid then?

You should PM Aurora she might know, be good to get some feedback from you on the forums about the event as your a very frequent visitor to these forums, and would be nice to see a dedicated veteran of the forums get the chance to play the sims at this event.
