What is the point of bumping this thread, it is at the top anyway.

Anyway, has anyone been able to resurrect the Tragic Clown. I think it may be a bug because none of my Sims could before but after chatting to the Tragic clown and becoming friends, my Sim was able to pick up his grave, so i'm just waiting for the opportunity from the science facility now.

The SIMS 3 Create a SIM is not good enough to create Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. Hairstyles are very important and there are just so few. Right now the variety of different SIMS is pretty poor.

But so was the original SIMS 2 I can remember. SIMS started looking better and better over time.

how do you resurrect a sim ?? do you need to max out the logic skill and bring their grave to the science facility ??

It's just a random opportunity you get from the science facility, so you don't need to max any skill, you just need some dead sims and their graves. So you could be waiting ages for this to happen. Also the sim comes back as a ghost.

no thats wrong you have to have someone in your PLAYABLE family at the time die for them to call you, not if your just friends with a random ghost.

Uh, I didn't say you needed to be friends with a random ghost, where did you get that part from?

Also I have had a few sims die outside of my playable family and the science facility has called after I have picked up their grave.

Poor Mortimer, he'd only just gotten over his Dad's death, and now his Mum, Cassie is too young to remember her Grandmother, but she'll be there in memory.

Nice little story of the Goth's you've got there. Where are the Goths situated? I haven't found them yet... and I've always liked playing them. In TS2 I did soooo much with them and I loved the storyline of Bella disappearing hehe.

i read that as you were implying you just need to be friends.

They live in Sunset Valley in a gothic mansion behind the graveyard. It's up on a hill by the science building (with the biodome).

I found that if you move the camera view so that you are seeing the room at eye level, or 'sims height' the ceilings appear in the room.

I played the goths bella & mort got married & had cassandra & morts parents died and then i changed household for a couple of sim days and then i found out that the goths moved :'(
I then opened a new game of sunset valley and once bella had cassandra i then changed hosuehold and they moved again! :'(

Meet my sim Gerry Atrick, as some of you may know I have got the Sims 3 for review and so far loving it, its like Sims 2 in some ways but the lack of loading screens is ace....I just wished I could see more comical message like "unloading loading screens" and such as we had in The Sims 2....oh well here we go then.

Here is Gerry starting his 1st day or so at work, he wants to become a spy!

I am glad that the Police cars have been re-designed in this game, even though they still look very american...i'm hoping to find some british skins for these soon. What I also like is the fact that because he became a Lieutenant in the Police Force he now has his own squad car sat on his drive

Gerry is now an elder and will no doubt die before I get to level 10 in the Law Enforcement career, im currently at level 6.

Oh and before I go, he is a top class chef as this pic shows!

The_Doctor.. I agree. We should get some British skins for the police cars. Didn't realise you could have a police car as your daily drive when you become someone higher in rank. Do any other career tracks do that?
