Thank you sooooo much for posting! I hadn't seen the article before and really enjoyed reading it. I was especially thrilled to read this part, because I had been wondering about it for some time now and the article answered my question:
"Other rewards are special items such as teleportation pad or a food replicator that can automatically make food. What’s even better is that players can pass these items down to their in-game children. Think of this as a virtual inheritance except without the pricey federal tax."

I was most excited to read that rewards can be passed on!! I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be transferable but with this info from the article, my mind is at ease!

I cant wait to play. I am actually playing the sims 1 right now. Wow its improved so much since then. It was all about their needs in the sims 1, its a bit annoying lol.

The Sims 1 was so difficult compared to The Sims 2.

Like you said, the needs required more attention, as did the relationships.

Thank you for the article!

Since I've never played TS1, I'll take your guys' word that it was harder than TS2 and I think that TS3 will be even easier to play with regard to fullfilling needs and keeping relationships alive!

what did he mean about the neighbourhood being "static"?

did he mean that things never happened?
I think what he meant was that things dont change in terms of what does what, but even so, "Static" is the wrong word to describe that, it makes it seem like the town is dull and everything is repeated every day.

Hmmm

Yes, The Sims 1 was very difficult. It's going to be pretty easy now, but I guess thats what the difficultly levels are for.

Wow! That must have been terrible! I started off with TS2 so I don't have an idea of how it was in TS1!

I can only imagine! But just wait 'til we compare TS3 to TS2! I bet the difference will be even greater!
