Bella Goth always died on someone else's lot in Sims1

when I got to Sims2 I was like, Oh good, now I can finally play Be...OH NO!

I LOVED sims1, sims2 was good, too.

sims1 had better music, jokes, descriptions of items that were funny and mysterious, and the atmosphere was more...nostalgic

Well if you like TS1 better you always have the option to play it instead of TS2 and now with TS3 you will be able to play an even better game than the previous two!

I like to play The Sims once in a while, but when you're used to The Sims 2, it always feels a little weird going back in time.

I expect it'll be the same with The Sims 3 - but I don't intend on abandoning The Sims 2 forever.

Thanks for the link. Being a Star Trek fan, I love the idea of the teleporter and the food replicator. Now if only sims to travel to other planets, I'd be in my element then.

The teleporter will be very useful for getting around the big neighbourhood.

I love the idea of having a food replicator and teleporter as rewards now! Actually I downloaded a CC of a food replicator that was for TS2 from a TS2 CC site! It could make anything and even the restaurant food. Group meals as well as single plates and desserts too! It was great! The butler used it all the time!

I also think that they are great rewards. The food replicator sounds great and I like the idea of the teleporter also

I think it's really cool they put that in the game especially since in TS2 we could teleport with Bon Voyage or magevestium (not sure I spelled it correctly) as a witch!

The rewards are amazing, they are a big step up from The Sims 2.

Yea I agree - they are actually worth the effort now. I thought the rewards in TS2 were mostly pointless or useless but TS3 rewards look great, I'm looking forward to seeing how they will effect my game

Yes. In The Sims 2 the rewards were alright I guess. But the love hot tub didn't do much.

I really agree with you on the love hot tub! I only used it once, didn't get what it was for and then never used it again. I used only the smart milk, elixir of life, thinking cap and energizer!

I used the same ones, I also used the thing that lets you change your aspiration once because I was curious about the grilled cheese aspiration and used it once. I ended up hating it and that allowed me to change it.

Thanks Jan for reminding me! I also used the Orb to change the lifetime aspirations since they usually sucked for my Sims and I liked the top of the career lifetime aspirations the best because, of course, they were the easiest to achieve!

I liked the top of the career aspirations also, a lot of my sims got to the top of a couple of careers.

But the plastic surgery was a career reward and not an aspiration reward, but still I also loved to use it! It was really great!
