I'm not sure how much it will cost but it will be out the same time as the game and the CE!

I wish I could affor to be lazy like that and have it delivered but they won't let me have a stupid credit card in my country because I'm a student!!!
The prima guide is a very big (over 200 pages) guide to all the detail of the game, from the biggest ones to the smallest ones! I'm definitely getting it if they will have it in my store in Zagreb!

Cool, thanks for explaining. That must be annoying not having a credit card but at least you have an adventure getting the game

Good thinking AB! I've already gotten my new comp so I'm prepared for the game in that respect!

That depends really on what country you are in, in the UK it's around £12.99 depending where you buy it from.

I have pre ordered the CE from EA, mostly because I was being lazy and didn't feel like web browsing when I ordered it. The price is the same everywhere so it doesn't really matter. I will also get the Prima Guide, I will probably get that from Amazon.com. I hate shopping so on line works for me.

At least you have the possibility to do so unlike me because I'm a student and can't have a credit card in Croatia or Bosnia!

I'm sorry that they don't let you have a credit card, but honestly that is probably a good thing. I have one and only use it to buy things on want on line like the sims. I don't use it regularly it is too easy to get into trouble with it.

I think it is also a good thing but I'm sorry that I can't at least have it for the Sims which is the only reason I want it anyhow, just like you use it!

I'm sorry for you too. For me it keeps me out of the store which is a good thing, I am very claustrophobic and can not deal with crowded closed in places.

Really! I'm sooo sorry! Isn't there you could get rid of that fear? Maybe through therapy or facing your fear which I heard is supposed to work.

I can talk myself through it for short periods of time, but if I can avoid crowded places that is what I do. Unfortunately, there have been times where I have no choice like weddings and things like that, then I frequently go outside. I have learned ways to get around it.

I'm sorry to hear that you suffer in that way Jan_831, but it'd be good if we could get back onto the topic at hand.

  • Where are you buying The Sims 3 from? GAME
  • Will you preorder? Already have. xD
  • Will you buy from your local shop? Yuuup.
  • Will you camp outside the shop overnight? Gosh no, people round here only do that for Harry Potter. xD
  • Will you buy the official Prima guide? Maybe.
  • Will you join in with the countdown using all you fingers and toes, and those of your family members, and those of your neighbours too? .....eeep!

Lol Rob about your Harry Potter comment! I'm really jelaous of all you guys that can pre-order and be sure the game will be delivered to you on the release date! I on the other hand have to wait in front of my store to get it!

At least you'll know you'll get it on release date - there's always a risk with pre-orders that it arrives late!

I'm tempted to buy the Prima Guide too, but I don't know if I'd read it all. I read all of my cousin's University one, and there was only one new thing I found out, the rest I had worked out myself after playing for a week.

You do have a point there about buying in the store! Thanks, you've made me feel a bit better!
I'm definitely going to read the prima guide so I'll manage my way through the game with more ease and also I couldn't resist not to buy it and read it!
