Tdyannd is spilling the beans:

TSR v7 Beta

Loads of new information there. I know someone said something about changing lifespans, well she confirms that - lifespans can be adjusted from 25 to 1000 Sim days.
And I really like this touch:
"If your Girl Sim has an updo prior to entering the shower, she will have a downdo whilst in it and afterwards."

And this is only what she's allowed to say about! There must be a whole load of other stuff she's not allowed to say!

It means that if she for example wears her hair up (in a pony tail or braids or whatever) that if she comes out of the shower her hair is down.

Thanks for posting, read some interesting things!

"The Campus is just huge. Absolutely huge. They have an onsite dentist, physical gym, basketball court, tennis court, day care, two cafeterias, and even little TV's and computers everywhere if the staff wants to play some games. They have a massage parlor, a Starbucks...you name it. He said it was because they wanted to make it so the employees never have to leave...and geez, why would they want to!?"

I want to work for EA America!

"One of my first concerns was if the neighborhood is entirely open, can Sims get hit by cars? The answer is no. The cars just drive right through them."

Creepy!
I love the sound of the eyelash length slide bar!

"~You can also choose your sim's voice and change his/her voice pitch.
~An option for Evil Sims is to troll forums, and wreak havoc online."

I love it! Gah, I'm getting so excited reading this! I was very looking foward to S3 but now I'm bursting!

"~45 and 90 degree rotation come with the game"

Yay because I can't use boolprop (spl? I tried once and it messed my game up so badly I had to unistall and reinstall.)

Thank you for posting this BlackGarden87! There's loads more I could comment on, but better not, I'd be here all day. Thanks again!

By the way, I'm speaking to tdyannd now before she heads off for day 2 of the camp. She says there are only three things she's not allowed to talk about (and she won't tell me what those are!) so if you have any questions for her post them here and I'll try to send them to her before she goes in for the camp

Edited to add: she also asked me to mention that the game is still in testing, so things that she's reported about might not necessarily be in the final game

Awesome here are a few questions then.

1) Are there any Cinema's/Theaters if so can we enter them ? And watch a film and so on.

2) How many TV Channels do we have on the TV's ? And are there any new Channels.

3) Any new plants in Build mode ?

4) I take it there are Resturants ingame, if so, is it possible to get a Job there ? If so what kind of Job.

5) Last question, What is the feauture that most impressed her so far, and what Item does she love the best ?

Thats all, since i'd rather not kill her with Questions at the moment. Maybe Tomorrow!

Edit : Another Question!

6) Can we build Pools in the house ?

Cheers,
Callice

That's really cool about the hair being down when a sim comes out of the shower.

Um, on that page it says that we can choose 6 traits. Is that true?

Because it's been said that there are 5 not 6. Six would be nice.

Well she's just disappeared off for day 2. She's written down all the questions that have been asked here, and she'll check on the traits thing. Keep an eye on her blog because I'm sure she'll post when she gets back tonight!

I thought the Creators Camp already occurred. O.o

Anyway, I'm pretty amazed with what I've heard... Especially the custom lighting thing. It's fascinating that they've eliminated most of my need for downloading CC (for now).

I'm quite upset we don't get to upload patterns, because from the army-style picture (i think people should know what i'm on about) it looked as if you could

''You can create twins in CAS regardless of their age.'' That's one of the best bits of the new CAS!!!

I think the army-style pattern is a pattern included in the game. I'm a bit disappointed that we won't be able to put our own patterns in the game though I hope they'll add that in at a later stage.

However, my disappointment at that was completely overshadowed by my joy and amazement at something I read in Steve's blog:

We also learned a lot more info about the custom content processes. The game tools are actually so powerful that pretty much all of the items which you will see in the basic game CAS and Buy Catalogue have been created in the game by the art team and content creators within EA. They didn't need flashy external tools to make all this stuff you truly do have the power at your fingertips to create content just as good as EA. The base meshes (shapes of the items) are imported to the game a default blue, then the artsy type get to work on them. That's pretty much how third party CC will work too.
That's amazing! So it looks like we will be able to get totally new content by downloading meshes, but we don't have to download recolour after recolour. I'm really excited about this detail!

Definitley! In the Sims 2 I had literally about 20 variations of the same hair but in different colours lol, and 15 dresses but in different patterns. I hope they do make custom content available and I'm sure they will, but really this will keep me perfectly satisfied and won't kill my computer in the process!

~There are Part-Time and Full-Time jobs. The Part-Time jobs will not interfere with High School hours.
~Pregnant Mommy's get a few days off paid from work. New Daddy's get a few days off after the baby is born as well, but it didn't not say if the Daddy's get paid.
~Your Sim can read Pregnancy Books while Pregnant to help ensure a happy healthy pregnancy and happy healthy good-traited baby.

awesome!
