Hmm, OK so that says I can. But now it's the question of expansion packs and clogging my laptop up with them all. =/

That site said I could run it fine.
It works but it's too slow to do anything so I can't play.
Graphics are lalalala also.
And it said my sound would be fine but there's no sound playing from the game.
I'm mad.

No that's mobile broadband which is different (lets you get internet access anywhere there's a mobile phone signal). A router just shares the broadband you already have. Routers are about £30-£40 brand new, maybe less online. It's much easier if you get one designed for cable broadband rather than one designed for ADSL.

You need to check if it has a supported graphics card, otherwise it's impossible to tell if the game will run.

In that case it's fine, should run the game no problem with an upgraded card

I think so.

The first laptop has Intel graphics which most people are reporting run the game only on lowest settings, which is very poor graphics quality.

With a 9600M GS you will probably be able to run it with everything turned up high or very near high

Older computers definately work better with TS3. MY mam just tested with her new Vista Home Premium (Which runs really well, and can hold quite a few games on there) and it Failed CPU aswell as CPU speed, even though her CPU is the same as mine and her CPU speed is a bit better. Kinda makes sense since she has Windows Aero aswell, whereas I don't because I only have Vista Home basic

Sucks to be on Vista, especially when you can't stand XP. And macs cost a lalalalaload.

the cpu isn't the problem in that case i believe, i think it's the gpu thats the difference. regardless vista premium doesn't render aero when you're in game anyway so it doesn't have a performance hit.

games will always run better on older operating systems due to extra overhead because of the weaker os not taking up much processing time/memory (since the older os's are generally less complex which leads to them being less taxing, but generally crashing a lot more ^^).

the exception being (of course) windows 7, which does run quite a bit better than vista, but is just as pretty and usable just don't go to mac for gaming, unless you really only like WoW and the sims

if you only have a single core processor then you won't be able to, but if it's dual core you can just about wing it. Would you be able to tell me the processor name (model number preferably)?

good call, the loading times are EPIC (and not in the good sense) with only 1GB RAM, even with a powerful system

May I suggest using Multiquote?

And thanks. We both have Dual Processers, but I think we'll have to run on mine, it will be easier anyway xD And I only really want/have interested in PC games like The Sims and Spore. I go to consoles for others xD

Can I just ask why my RAM says it's 1005MB instead of the usual 1024MB, It's kind of annoying considering I can't put anymore extra ram in because my PC says it's not the same or somthing like that @_@
