I don't think they plan so far ahead. There was talk of maybe arranging a Community Day for the Sims 3, where you actually get to have a go of the game before release. But I can't give you any hard facts at the moment I'm afraid.

I'm glad you asked about the hopsials and pregnancy, was one of my main questions. Also thanks for hosting this day, means alot to us simmers!

Apologies again for the quality of the pictures. Unfortunately we couldn't view the game on the larger screen 'cause it just wasn't working. I'm sure clearer images will become available soon.

The website will probably have as much information and content as the Sims2.com currently has, minus the expansion packs of course.

He didn't no. I'd imagine there are teams in Australia that might arrange similar events, but I can't give you that as a fact I'm afraid.

The pictures that the guys posted there were about a million times better than the ones I managed to take I need a better camera.

I think that The Sims 2 site will still be active for a good long while although the new site did look awesome and very clear to use. The video editing aspect was very handy and you can subscribe to member's updates like you can with Sporepages.

I was blown away but what we saw yesterday and now I can not wait for us all to get our hands on the game. From little things like map markers for your Sims as they travel through the neighbourhood to the immense possibility with the Create a Style aspect just made my mind buzz with excitement and there are many quirky little additions within the traits that will make your Sims so much fun to play.

I hope there is one.

I can't believe I want this now. I'm not ready to let go of my other family yet!

So did I, I was just really hoping I wouldn't.

Apparently it looks better in action than it does in the screenshots posted on the site (thankfully - they're awful ), so I'll have to check out the later videos for myself.

WOW!!! I can't wait to actually see and play it in action!! Wish I could've gone there, but I live too far away. It looks so amazing though, especially the buy and build mode thing!! Can't wait!!! xD
