I think they should have the days run through the year callender (eg. april, may novemeber July ect.) with like snow in december, january february and have it really hot in the summer. i think it would be good because with the seamless neighbourhood, it wont make a difference because everyone will be aging all the time, and i think if it was still kept as an 80 day life span it would go too fast. what do you think?
Not even totally conivned by my own idea here

Since their not having seasons in the base game, maybe we could have the dates in a EP that includes seasons? And whatever the time period is for each time period they squeeze each month in there some how. Example: Each season is 51 sim days so each month could be like 17 days, and say you had a baby sim born on June 12 on the same date next year, that baby will become a toddler and 2 years after the toddler becomes a child etc.

I think that is a pretty good idea! You could like, have a massive party in your house for New Years Eve in January,
Christmas parties in December.. But I don't think EA would include this.. Seeing as it would take a YEAR :L for a year to go by in The Sims..

well the idea was that if everyone was aging at the same time, and the time gaps stayed the same, everyone would be dying and giving birth every other minute and it would be moving too fast, or maybe they should include this in like an options thing were you can turn it on or off

no i like this idea... the sims should have months, so they can celebrate occassions and when xmas comes around, then on 25th December, the sims can have a roast dinner whilst its snowing outside...

Having months would be nice. I enjoy playing the sims games but the aging was to fast for me. I always turned of aging if I could.
Also the days moves to fast for me to. Alarm ring at 6 am, get a shower takes 1 hour and then you hardly got time to eat before you have to get to work. Plus the other things that decreased over night that you would want to have as high as possible to do a good job. I hope they change the speed in which time moves to make it a bit slower. |
