If they can do it automatically, you don't have to do that anymore. Or even you can choose four seasons as summer. Then it's ok.

I'm not buying The Sims 3, although, I disagree with them leaving weather out of the base game.

It's something many of us will be used to after playing Seasons, and seeing as they overcame the difficulties they had with getting it to work there, surely they could use the same theories to overcome any issues they were having in The Sims 3?

Leaving it out it is proof that they don't include certain features, because that way they can put them into an expansion pack that they know people are going to buy. Look at what happened with The Sims 2 and Pets.

On the topic of pets, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody told me now that pets are another thing they "had difficulty with" putting in the base game, but, of course, will "try to overcome the issues" to put it in a later expansion pack, that will probably include nothing but pets or weather.

Clever, yes - they know they'll make more money this way, but still, it's not nice for those Simmers who will be buying The Sims 3 and won't be getting the features they'd hoped would be carried forwards from The Sims 2.

If it was sticky it would be better, but only mods can do that!

People will see this thread and vote on it in time - I expect you'll have quite a few more votes by this evening.

I hope, because there are some reports which send by someone in here regularly. And i want them to see them, then they can realize and add this feature to the game.

I doubt it'll be added, if I'm perfectly honest.

Like I said in my post, by leaving it out, it means there's room for an expansion with it in, that they can charge £20 for and know people will buy it.

Your thoughts and ideas do get heard and I'm sure that weather has already been considered by the development team and is either included or omitted to a later expansion pack. Seasons was one of the more popular packs so I don't doubt weather will make a come back, even though it might not be in the base game.

I'd personally like to see it in the base game as screenshots already show that Sims are capable of growing vegetables/fruit in the base game.

I'd love to see the weather added to the base game. However I'd be more than happy still if it get's added at a later date as long as they add it .

I absolutely want weather in the game. It'll be like taking a step backwards not having it in the sims 3 after having weather in the sims 2 game
