Im so excited about the sims 3, dont get me wrong on that one....and i am going to buy it for sure....

but all this speculation is driving me stark raving mad! seriously!

when the sims 2 came out...i was still on sims 1, so there wasnt a wait at all...

but with sims 3...im getting hyped up about it mabye....9 months before its even realeased. Im just hopping im not building my hopes too high....

i just feel a bit worn out thinking about it all the time...n e one get my jist?

or am i alone in this one lol

I think it depends on what point you started playing the original Sims.

I only started buying and playing the Sims 1 games about a year before the Sims 2 came out, so the wait seemed smaller.

Those people who started playing the original Sims the moment it came out, they probably would have been feeling the same.

Just try not to think about it while we aren't getting any more information. The problem with all the hype and speculation, it often leads to dissapointment. People should bear in mind that everything they suggest will not be included in the base game, although it doesn't mean to say that suggestions won't be included in expansion packs later on.

i get what you mean, even if i dont feel that way myself. i like the idea of sims3, but i havent sims2ed myself out yet so im happy to wait untill sims3 has all the starting glitches sorted out and its price drops in the shops. maybe ill get it in a year or two.

I just dont want it to be like Sims 2. They released a special disk in Makin Magic which woz totally different to the real game. And then it wasnt it :S Not puttin Sims 2 down but the one on the disk looked betta

I don't get hyped up about games because I don't read the reviews or visit the website much until a few of days before the release of games. So as far as TS3 is concerned, it could be delayed until 2010 and I wouldn't be majorly fussed.

i get excited when i hear THE SIMS 3 i go mental and get all excited.... but overall its something that would stay in my mind for about 5 min. and then it vanishes.

but when i hear the sims 3 AGAIN.. u will see me go mental AGAIN...lool...am confused

Sorry, my brain in going overtime at the moment but is this a hint that the base game isnt that far away, or at least nearly complete? Just curious. Its just that a forum moderator is suggesting that maybe everything 'they' (us) we suggest will not be included in the base game.....mmmmm....why? because its past being tinkered with anymore....cause its nearly complete....

im glad some people understand. i really do want the game...but i think the reason im so impatient is because i hadnt fully sims2ed myself out, because it got deleted (sob sob) from my computer sometime last year, and i really missed it...and iv had nothing to do in the meantime..and my mom said shes definently not buying me another sims 2 because of my (obsessive personality lol)...

so ive just been really bored. and all this speculation is just...arrgghh! LOL
I cant wait..im just hoping it lives up to my grand deas and runs smoothly on my pc....

cant wait for GTA on pc either te he he

but cant wait for sims 3 more

I'm excited about it yes! Ive played the orginal sims when it came out, and from then on, I haven't looked back. Once the sims 2 was announced, I hardly played the sims 1 because I knew something better would be out, and I didn't see the point.
Now the sims 2 is out, ive got all the expansions but I don't play them all. I'm looking forward to appartment life first =] Looking at the sims 3 stuff, I know theres a while off till it comes out, so I'm concentrating on the sims 2, and building generations, and doing all those little things that I haven't done, and generally enjoying one or two families =]
