The new screen shots do look good. I still think the faces look a bit too plastic. Not enough definition, for example the faces of the men in Sims 1 and a little in Sims 2 looked more 'chisled' and manly than Sims 3. The mens faces look boyish!

Has anyone noticed that when you click on this pick (should open in another window) then click on it again to zoom in that the house down the road on the corner is missing?!? You can see the base of the house and the steps going up to it but the 'body' of the house is missing! So does this mean that to be able to play such a large neighbourhood that you wont be able to see and play it all?!?!?

Actually something else I have notices, the eyebrowns look like they have been painted on. You cant see the hairs. The eyebrows in Sims 2 looked really good. They actually had a realism to them, the shape was great and you could see the makeup of them. The eyebrows in Sims 3 look painted, like what women used to do in the 1940's. They are also very arched. Dont look complimenting to the face. The eye colours are great though!

yeah, i've noticed that too skitchy, all the eyebrows that i've seen so far look painted on and fake, very cartoonish. it's somewhat dissapointing as the eyebrows in TS2 were brill and it's like EA has taken a step down and given us these draw-on, high up, v. arched brows which displease me and i suspect many other people.

Default When Are You Releasing More Pics?

Any pics of babies? elders? OOH and IS THE GRIM REAPER DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK?
For the sims 2 there was a grim reaper pic.

how is 2d games naff....im sorry but agitates me that does. some of the best games were 2 dimensional and some of the worst 3d....im loosing faith in games in general as there all becoming fancy graphical 3d paintings with little to no decent game play...megadrive = best console out there. iv played a wide variety of eras of games and found i prefere 2d, but only like (not love) the 3d ones

umm yeah

Some quality franchises where in their prime in 2d and lost their touch in 3d.

Rare's Donkey Kong games on the SNES where revolutionary. A shame that Donkey Kong was only playable in the first of the three games though.

Same goes for Mario, as soon as he started talking things went wrong with his stupid little voice. The best mario game is super mario world 1 in my opinion, it was developed for the SNES.
