Default Vampires and Werewolves!

I love that you can make vampires in the sims 2 and I like werewolves too, though I've never had a chance to play any of them. I think they should have vampires and werewolves as an option when making your sim. What do you think?

Theres a thread talking about aliens on Sims and now Vamps and Werewolves...its possible though but I think it could be one of their expansions. On this game almost everything is possible. It just on how people would like play it. Sims game is like putting all your dreams, fear, obsession, creation and enthusiasm that you can't do in real life. So, who care if there are alien on the hood or werewolves and vamps or even zombies

All special sim races have been implemented very poorly in the sims2 though, they need to improve that a lot so that the gameplay will really differ.

Wants and fears could be very different, especially for aliens. Alien sims really should do odd things that only their own race understands. They could have a fear for things normal to us, dogs for example, or human screaming.

A wherewolf could be able to talk with dogs, use objects meant for dogs, dig holes with bare hands, having the want to eat meat, preferably raw.

Vampires should be safe whenever indoors when its daylight outside. Vampire sims should also have the common sense to not go outside in the sunlight unless you tell them to do it. They should also sleep in the coffin with their clothes on, and only really weird living sims should want to sleep in a coffin. They all want to sleep in it when one sim is a vampire it seems.

Furthermore they should not be able to have children. They are dead after all.

Vampires, werewolves, plantsims.. Don't all these belong in Magic?

Perhaps, but then there's always been a creature in each extension pack for the Sims 2.

I personally want to have a mystic potion. After drinking this potion, my vampiric sims will become able to withstand sun light since the "night only" rule just keeps me away from having vampires in my household.

I dont mind them since they are all optional, sims dont get to be such a thing easily and there are counter measures if they turn into one.

They just need to put a lot more work in these special sim races.

thats stupid in my opinion, it just dums the game down, if you want that kind of thing, go and play horror games instead

But I think it is interesting to see some fantasy things in sims' realistic lives.

ooh i love this I definatly agree that the special races in sims should differ from ordinary sims in their character traits. Like wierd alien rituals haha. that would be fun.
But i think Vampires should be able to have children, but thats just me i guess lol

I prefer trying to work out how to make them a creature. It looks so cool when they turn into a vampire or plantsim.

but those that do will be disapointed...thats why its optional...one track minds never realise this or seem to understand it

so yeah id like them with a bit of work done like others have said, maybe some even that dont fit the stereotype...like a persons personality could transfer to the creature they become so you could get a really social vampire who hates only going out at night becasue there hardly anyone to talk to so they go seek means to either become fully human again or find a means to go out in the day with no harm done to them

I think that it'd take a lot of the fun out of the game.

Honestly, is it really that hard to get your sim close enough to a vampire (or werewolf) to get bitten..?

No, i had heaps of supernatural sims, i like the idea... if you don't like them well they are easy to ignore, and really don't intefear with game play if you don't have a re;ation ship with it.

I have trouble with getting my sim to be a warewolf... is it that dog with yellow glwong eyes?

yeah they have to bite your sims.....and like i said shennanigoats...its optional, dont want them...dont have them. it will always be optional to have....dont be so arrogant toward a feature you dont like that you dont even need to use. its not like they pop up all the time (well at least not for me anyway) but those who DO want them will use them, so you cant say no creatures if you dont want them as your not forced to use them....if you want a game so much like life with little to no supernatural and set on hard difficulty...go outside

people play games to escape reality, not to play it...if you do, actually do it...sure theres bad side affects but you wanted realsim after all didnt you...so you cant complain getting what you wanted, realism

yeah i havent seen a vampire other than the two i have at home in months...and i never see them on a community lot that often either...almost never

but yeah to get the warewolf to bite you just interact with it, play with it and sooner or later itll be friendly with your sim and would want your wim to be a wolf too so itll bite you
