Yes but like i said earlier, to make up a sim religion you'd have to base festivals (and practices) on existing ones for people to relate to them, and then which festivals do you pick? Christmas and easter because that's what the majority of the western world celebrate? You're still going to annoy people of other religions there. Even a cheese toasty festival would have to be careful as to not reflect any existing religions..

I don't like the idea either......I am religious myself but in Sims religion has no point....I mean what could it bring them?? Going to church every sunday???? For what??? Celebrating holidays??? There is no calendar in Sims so when would that happen??? And how would you get the entire neighbourhood to start decorating their houses for Christmas or any other holiday, and if only your current family can do it than where's the fun in it?????
No, religion is completely pointless to me.......(in Sims I mean he) |

I'd like to have religions if you made up your own religions which just reflect sims personalities and lifestyles and make up names, so its not really what they celebrate or belive in it could just seperate them into groups, eg:
Jiblies: Jiblies love to hang out with friends, they are very sociable people and are very popular. another eg: Heldons: Heldons are hard workers, they want to succeed in life and love working for themselves wheather that includes house-work or is just career wise. luci x |

religions cause enough trouble as it is. im a muslim at the moment but compared to most muslims im not religous at all (when i turn 18 im going to turn atheist). one of the things that sims have is that they are all equal when it comes to this sort of things and adding relgion will mess it all up and cause chaos in our tranquile (sp?) neighbourhood. personally i think that religion isnt a good thing in the real world anyway so we should ruin the one place where it does have the annoyance of religion

Either Sims are religious, or they're not - there shouldn't be multiple religions, that's when people are going to start freaking out. ![]() I think it would be an interesting addition to the game, anyway. |
