I dont even like playing the sims 2 now as much just knowing about the sims 3! I hope it comes out in 2009 and doesnt get delayed!

If you decide to zoom out and play a different family would the other family you were previously playing well would there needs go down?

aww i know youre cannot wait anymore for sims 3. just 4 months more for next year. 4 MONTHS

i doubt that i will ever hate TS3 althought the fact that if u zoom out u can go into diff neighbours, that could get annoying.lol

well in personal opinion i think sims 3 should be much more detailed like..

-when they come home and step into the house they have 2 take their shoes of and put them in a cupboard or something
-that girl would have their periods 1ce a month (and they could only get pregnent around that time)
-sims could catch STI's (sexualy transmited ilness)
(sorry if these words ar sencored)
-that a woohoo would be call'd safe woohoo(used a condom)
-unprotected woohoo(not used a condom (girl/boy condom)
-that there would be bonk-beads
-that there would be aprtments
-that people could own other houses and could rent them to other people
-that people could have a 3way conversation on the phone like teens like 2 talk 2 all their girl-m8s at the same time
-and that some would have anger manegment
-when girls/boys break-up with their boy-friends/girl-friends that they would have different emotions anger/sadness/lost/happyness
-that people could see them in school and that we could make them bunk lessons and stuff
-and that there would be gangs like mafia && all that
-that there would be cliques in schools like (chavs,gangsters,gangster wannabees,goths,emos ect)
-that there would be more then just a public school and private school
-and that there would be schools like boarding schools but you can get the child back from there anytime
-and that in schools there would be trips
-for adults there would be business trips
-that the children can stay on their own in the house and that they can cook like adults

I saw the recent E3 trailer and I have to say I was left pretty underwhelmed by the new character models (they look better in the screens than in motion). I just don't think they are that much of a leap forward compared to Sims 2. I recently saw some footage of the character creation system for a multi-player online shooter game called APB, and it completely blows away anything else in terms of how it works.

Now albeit that game is clearly thematically different from Sims 3, that an MMO, with all of the challenges of online play offers up that level of richness in it's character creation system makes me question why Sims 3 can't offer up something similar in level tbh. I hate to be a downer (I am looking forward to Sims 3) but I think it's time to step beyond the cartoons.
